"Selina there's nothing here." Bruce says looking around.
"Relax, kid. Just wait, ok?" She looked back at him, walking forward to the dead end of an alley. She knocked on a heavy metal door. A slit opened in the door to reveal a set of eyes.
"Password." he demanded.
Selina looked around for people, seeing no one she said "Armadillo."
The man closed the eye hatch and a second later opened the door, gesturing to the inside.
"Good to see ya, Cat." He smiled. Bruce started to follow her inside when the man haunted him. "Now just a second."
"It's okay Tom, he's with me." Selina said, taking Bruce's hand and guiding him to the inside.
There was a long wooden bar with several stools. The walls were painted black, the floor was wooden and dirty. There were small wooden tables around. A jukebox in the corner, there was a disco ball in the center of the ceiling, reflecting light everywhere.
Selina hopped on a bar stool, placing her elbows on it. Bruce carefully sat on the one next to her.
"What'll it be today, Cat?" the bartender asked while drying a beer mug with a towel.
"I'll take a kitty cocktail, no ice." Selina smirks.
"And for Richie rich?" he gestured to Bruce, tapping his pencil on his notepad impatiently.
"Oh. I-I'll have what she's having, Please." Bruce looked down nervously.
Selina nudged at him "See the free life is fun isn't it?"
"Well it certainly is interesting." He replied, looking up at her.
The bartender placed two Kitty Cocktails infront of them. "Thanks Joe." Selina said.
"Thank you." Bruce echoed.
"No problem kids." Joe said winking at them. Bruce sniffed at his drink and examined it carefully. He took a sip, but she halted him.
"You eat the cherry first" Selina corrected him.
He nodded and ate the cherry, she did the same. Selina tied the cherry stem with her tongue and spit it out. "Takes skill." she shrugged. Bruce stared at her impressed.
After they finished their drinks and food they left.
Bruce climbed in the window first, Selina coming in behind him. Alfred waited angrily.
"You kidnapped him you little minx!" Alfred yelled at Selina.
"Alfred." Bruce interrupted, "It was my idea, Selina had nothing to do with it. She was just my guide" He explained.
Selina smiled at Alfred innocently, with a sense of sarcasm.
Alfred glared at her, unsure. "I still don't trust her."
"She's our guest Alfred show some respect."
Wow what does this kid like about me so much? Selina asked herself.
