Emily was wearing white knee length shorts with black tee. Her hairs were tied in a messy bun. She wanted to look cute yet casual. Her mother was baking lasagna for Emily and her friends as she told her that they will be here for dinner. She didn't tell her mother about Finn still hoping that he wouldn't come but little did she know that he was already outside at her door.

At exact 6 pm the door bell rang. "I got it" Emily announced. She looked at mirror, to make sure that she was looking good, before heading to the door. She didn't know why but she wanted to look good in front of Daniel. She opened the door and someone knocked on her forehead unaware that door has been already opened. "Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" she started crying out, her hand straight on her forehead.

She was moving continuously while crying out. "Will you stop jumping around and let me have a look at it?" Finn said irked by her childish behavior. "You almost broke my forehead and now you are ordering me to stop." She replied loudly. She was still moving when Finn grabbed her left arm and made her stop. Then he grabbed her right wrist and removed her hand from her forehead. He looked at it closely. It was slightly red mainly because of her own hand pressed tightly against her forehead. Emily froze because Finn was so close to her that she could even feel his breath on her face. Her heart started beating fast while she was looking in his eyes. Finn noticed Emily's stare and smirked. That brought Emily back to reality and she pushed him. 'What was I thinking?' she thought to herself. Finn took a step back and smirked again. He was used to get this kind of reaction from girls but getting it from Emily made him ecstatic.

"What are you doing here?" she asked. "I'm here for dinner to which you invited me. Remember!" He replied too sweetly. "I didn't invite you. You invited yourself. Remember!" she replied in the same sweet tone, a little accusing. "To help you with your economics assignment. Remember!" He replied without getting bothered by her accusing tone. She knew she wasn't going to win form Finn so she sighed and motioned him to come in. "Yeah Yeah come in."

He was standing in the living room when her mother appeared from kitchen. He came forward "Hi! I'm Finn George, Emily's friend and you must be Emily's older sister." He said flirtatiously while shaking hands with her mother. Emily's mother was quite young for being a mother of 18 years old daughter. Her cheerful and jolly nature made her face more lively. "Oh please, I'm Nora, Emily's mother." She said flattered, her other hand in the air. Finn didn't leave her hand and gasped "Oh my! You are so young and beautiful." He said with a finger on his chin pretending like he was checking her out. Emily's mother was even more flattered and she instantly liked the guy.

That was Finn's plan and Emily knew it. He was doing it all on purpose. He knew that Emily didn't have any siblings. The door bell rang again and Emily let out a sigh. "Mom can you please get it?" Her mother headed to the door with a nod. Emily came forward and pointed a finger at Finn. "Don't try to flirt with my mom."

"You would rather like if I do it with you." Finn smirked

"Errr...." Emily grumbled.

Daniel entered the living room with a bookey in one hand. Emily's face instantly lit up but Daniel gave it to her mom. "Lovely flowers for a lovely woman." He said and bowed down slightly. Emily's mother's hand was again in air. "Oh you naughty boys." She left the living room saying.

Emily was more irritated this time. 'What was it with these two boys?' she thought. "Mom we are going up stairs to do our homework. Call us when dinner is ready." She said loudly from living room while Daniel and Finn were already at the middle of staircase. She followed behind. She was about to enter her room when Finn closed the door on her face and missed her nose by inches.

She stomped her foot hard and opened the door. They both were already spread out on her bed. She fumed. She got her books and moved their heavy legs violently. "Hey woman! You could have asked. No need to get violent." Daniel replied enjoying. "Don't make me angrier Daniel." She replied fuming.

"What did I do?" He asked innocently. "OH God! Please help me!" she said exasperated. They both laughed and sat straight. "Okay Okay Let's start." This time Finn replied. Both Daniel and Emily looked at him shocked.

They finished their work and straightened out their backs standing. "That was one hell of an assignment." Daniel said. "You both owe me now." Finn said. Emily just rolled her eyes but she was happy that her assignment was done.
