I love decorating the village at this time of the year. To put all the candles in place, putting flowers every were, just making a beautiful and magical place of our boring village. And of course to celebrate that Spring is upon us now. Everyone is helping, witches, vampires and werewolves working together. Which does not happen very often here. 'Tilly can you pass me those candles.' 'Here you go.' Se hands me the candles and I start to put them on all the tables that we put out in the town square. Every year we eat together at the town square to celebrate that spring is upon us now and to welcome the King back in our village. I walk towards the ladies who are responsible for the food that is going to be served tonight. 'This looks delicious, Gloria' as I say that I put my pinkie finger in the soup to taste it, but before my finger can feel the soup my hand gets slept away. 'It is not done yet, you can taste it when it is served. Now leave, get ready for tonight.' She says with a small smile. 'I will.' I walk back to town square and see Arwen standing there overlooking the place that Tilly and I decorated. 'You did a good job Freyah, it looks good.' 'Thank you miss.' I say with a small bow. 'Go and get ready for tonight and I will see you in a few hours.' She walks away with a bow and I make my way home. As I walk towards my house, or should I say our because I live together with Tillie, I start thinking about tonight. About all the possible things that could happen with me and Nathaniël. I open the door and Tilly's head turns right at me. 'What do you think? Is this Royal appropriate?' She stands in front of the mirror with a dress that she is holding in front of her body. It is a black velvet dress with a beautiful beaded butterfly detail. 'It is gorges, here let me do your hair.' I take the upper half of her hair and make two braids which I make them look like she has a crown on her head and for the last piece I put some flowers in her hair. 'Thank you it looks beautiful. Now your turn.' I get my dress, it is a nude taffeta gown with a black bodes. I let my brown wavy hair fall down naturally and on both sides of my head I make a little braid with a pearl embellishment in it. We put on our accessories which are a necklace and a pair of earrings. We are about to walk out the door when we hear the clock, which means that the festival is about OT start and that the Royal family is coming. Which also means that Nathaniël and I are going to each other again. We go outside and walk towards the town square where everyone gets together. 'Greetings everyone, welcome to our annual Spring festival. Our guests of Honour, the royal family, will arrive shortly.' Clayton announced 'But before they arrive I want to say one thing, only the king and queen know what we really are, they are bringing their daughter, Princess Sage and their son and next in line Prince Nathaniël. Be careful what you are talking about around them. Now let's go celebrate.' At that moment we hear the horses galloping in the direction of the village. I started to feel nervous and excited at the same time. The royal family arrives and they step out of the carriage. Every head turns there way and as they walk towards their seats everyone stands up. 'Good evening people of Wolverhampton,' Technically our village is not called Wolverhampton but because our village has no name and it is close to Wolverhampton the people who know of our existence also call our village Wolverhampton. 'We are glad to be here safe and sound, it has been a long time since I have been here and fortunately nothing has changed. Your village has shown loyalty for the past three hundred years. We are glad to celebrate such a good thing on this beautiful spring evening instead of a cold fall day. Let's raise your glasses for more good years to come,' Everyone raises their glasses 'Salute.' After the kings speech the food is being served. I look at the table where Nathaniël sits and I notice that he was looking for someone in the crowd and that someone is me. We lock eyes, unable to look away. Finally when supper past, which feels like hours, we get dismissed to do our own thing. I signal Nathaniël to come and sit with me under this beautiful oak tree, lit by fireflies and candles. 'Good evening my lord.' I say when he sits down beside me. 'Please call me Nathaniël' He sits down beside me. 'How do you like it here? This is your first time here right?' 'Yes it is and it is lovely.' He is such a sweet heart, he has good manners. I have no idea what could make him possibly be less wonderful than he already is. 'Your parents are coming here every year, why did you and your sister came with them this time?' That question was the first thing that came into my mind, otherwise there would be a silence, a pretty long silence and I hate silence in conversations. 'Well I was sort of forced to come here. My dad wants me to learn everything that there is about being king because when he dies I become king. He wants me to be ready when the time comes.' 'Do you like it?' 'I like somethings but not everything. Most things are a bit boring.' He says with small smile and his eyes looking at the ground. 'You think this visit is boring?' I say in a non-irritated way. 'Partly, that is why you saw me in town. I wanted to explore and see the village.' Out of nowhere he stands up and puts his hand out. 'May I have this dance?' 'Yes you may.' We walk towards the dance floor where the musicians are playing this beautiful love song. We stand in the middle of the dance floor. He starts to lead me. 'You can dance? That surprises me.' He says, his eyebrows raised. 'So a small town girl cannot dance, huh?' I say with a small smile. 'Hey I did not say that ... exactly.' We both Leah and keep on dancing. 'Your parents are watching' I say with a nervous smile. 'So what, let them watch how I dance with the most beautiful girl in England.' He says confidently. The song comes to an end but I do not want it to stop. I look around the dance floor and notice we were the only ones dancing. They are all watching us and applauding at us. We do a quick bow and then he grabs my Haydn as a sign to follow him. We walk to the tree where we talked earlier. 'That was wonderful.' I say. I noticed his hands on my hips, pulling me closer to him and I did not want him to stop. I put my arms around his neck as I say, 'What are you doing?' I look in to his eyes but he does not answer me. His head tilts sideways and comes closer until our lips lock. It is the most wonderful kiss that I have ever had in my live on this earth. It felt like we are in our own little world, as far away from the real world as we can be. This feeling I have is something I have never felt before, I feel warm inside, I feel happy, I feel butterflies in my stomach. Is this what love feels like? We pull away, our foreheads against each other, our eyes open. I feel a smile coming on to my face, our faces. I want this feeling again, for the rest of our lives together. We do not have to say anything, we are just here in the moment, thinking about what just happened. He breaks the silence 'you are so beautiful when you blush.' As he says that he puts my hair behind my ear which makes me blush even more. I want to say something but I am afraid that is stupid and that I will never see him again. 'Do you want to see the stars?' I ask him. 'Yes I would love to.' We lay down on the grass, my head on his chest and his arm around me. 'This is beautiful don't you think?' I say, 'Look that big star over there is the pole star.' 'Wow it is beautiful.' I look at his face and see that he is amazed by the beauty of the stars. Suddenly I hear someone calling my name, 'Freyah, where are you? Freyah!' We both stand up as fast as we can, walking towards the voice that is calling my name. 'Oh thank you god, I was afraid that I lost you. The royal family is almost leaving and they are looking for-.' Tilly says to me, noticing that Nathaniël is standing beside me holding my hand. 'You my lord.' She finishes her sentence with a bow. 'It is alright.' He says turning to me, and now holding both of my hands.

'I had a great time with you tonight, Freyah. I don't want this to be over so I hope that we see each other again. Maybe you can come to court with me or I can visit you here.'

'I had a great time to, Nathaniël. And I don't want this to be over either. I-' and before I could finish my sentence he kisses me very passionately. He pulls away and finishes the sentence for me. 'Freyah I love you.'
