The teacher runs up and close the curtain Maggie can still see through the curtain a little the thing is moving. A loud gun shot sounded as the thing hit the ground.
"They killed it!" Yelled Maggie.
"It's what had to be done." Mrs. Brown said as she guided Maggie away from the window.
"But why, why are these things so bad they have to be killed what did they ever do to us." Maggie said worriedly.
"I'm not aloud to tell you but all I can say is stay here and you'll be safe." Mrs. Brown said as she walked to the other side of the room and sat at her desk.
Another thing walked up to the window and let out a groan as it hit the window with it heads continually.
"Mrs. Brown do you think they can break through?" Said jimmy. A loud gun shot sounded again once again the thing at the window hit the floor.
"No jimmy we are completely safe here." Mrs Brown said.
"What about my parents and my family are they safe to can they come here I don't want them to get hurt." Jimmy said as a tear rolled down his cheek.
"We are your family now jimmy. We're the ones that can keep you safe, your other family can't it's better just to forget about them." Mrs Brown said.
Jimmy put his head down on his desk you could here short whimpers every few minutes. What should I do I'm stuck in this class room I'm tired Hungry and I want my mom. Wait I have a cell phone in my backpack that my mom gave me for emergencies only
Maggie thought to her self. Maggie ran over to her back pack and grabbed out her cell phone 4 missed messages from mom they read, Hello, Are you okay, honey please let me know if your okay, I can get you and we can go somewhere safe please just respond please please please. Maggie shook and she texted. The message read Mom I'm okay I'm stuck in the school the teachers said they would keep me safe here, I want to be with you please mom wait for me I'll find a way out. Maggie sat at her desk clenching her phone waiting for a reply and slowly drifted off to sleep.
