Home Sweet Home

"Welcome to our new home when this all started this people rescued me and took me in. I told them i had a daughter and they said i could go get you." Said Janice

"Will they be okay with me here?" Asked Jimmy.

"We are going to have to see aren't we?" Janice sighed.

They are approaching the end of the drive way when an old man walks out to door and watches them park the car.

"Who's that?" Asked Maggie.

"Ill introduce you to everyone once we get in side." Said Janice

"How many are there?" Jimmy asked

Janice opened the car door and got out quickly Jimmy and Maggie Followed behind. They make sure to grab there guns and Maggie puts hers in her left back pocket, Jimmy in his right front pocket. The group walks into the house as the old man follows behind. They take a seat on a couch in the living room and an old man a lady that looks to be about 20 and a boy that looks Maggie age walk in.

"Hi my names Owen i own this ranch here." Said Owen

Owen shook Maggie and Jimmy's hand and nodded. "Hey y'all i'm Stephen I'm 14 and Owen here's my granddad and her shes my mom" Stephen said while pointing to the lady that has yet to be introduced. 

The lady stands up and said. "Hello children i'm Claire Owens daughter and Stephen's mother i'm glad you guys are here. Looks like a great little gang." 

"Sorry about Jimmy but my daughter insisted on bringing him." Janice said.

"He helped me escape the school i couldn't just leave him my apology" Maggie exclaimed.  

Claire stood up and said "That's alright you to. Just means you will have to share a room! No worry's the room will have bunk beds. Follow me you two."

Maggie and Jimmy stand up and follow Claire down a hall way and up the stairs. " Second room to the left you two. You will find some clothes in there you can wear to. You two should get some rest it's almost 11pm" Said Claire 

Maggie and Jimmy continue down the hall and stop at the second room to the left. Jimmy and Maggie both reach for the door handle and there hands touch, They both quickly pull there hands back as they smile at each other. Jimmy slowly puts his hand on the handle and opens the door. The room had a bunk bed in the back left corner, A dresser om the right back corner. In between both in a window that is blocked off by wood that is hammered into each side of that windows surrounding.  The two of them search the dresser for clothes to wear to bed and Maggie finds Flannel men's bottoms and hands them to Jimmy. Jimmy looks around the room and sees a closet next to the door and goes inside to change. When Jimmy comes out he has no shirt on and just the bottoms he winks at Maggie and says "I shot top bunk"

Maggie giggles as Jimmy climbs to the top bunk and lays down. Maggie held a night gown in her hands and heads into the closet to change. About 2 minutes later Maggie walks out and heads to the bottom bunk where she says down. Jimmy laughs and says "Here's the problem.... The lights still on and well the doors still open." 

Maggie laughs and stands up walking over to the door and closing it. Then to the light switch and flicking it off.  Maggie makes her way back to bed and once again lays down and shuts her eyes. A few hours later Maggie wakes up she checks the time 3AM.
