Chapter 5

~Jai's POV~

"Are we going to the McDonalds by Wal Mart?" Camille asks.

"I'm sitting on the door and Luke, the closest one would be fine," I say. My bum is hurting from sitting like this. If I try to move Luke will freak out. We turn into the closest McDonalds parking lot and I don't know how I'm going to get out the car without smacking the ground.

"Well, this is going to be interesting," Luke says while looking out the window. The door flies open and I fall out the car.

"What the fu-," my words get cut off when I see my mum standing there. Beau is laughing like a crazy person so I know he must've opened the door.

Luke steps on my chest and says,

"Mum, where did Jai go? I can't find him!" I pull the bottom of his pants and they come down off his waist a little bit. "Shit," he yells and steps off of me. Camille comes and helps me up.

"Thanks Camy," I say with a smile. She blushes and nods. I look at Beau and he isn't laughing anymore, he looks kind of pissed actually. He turns around and walks toward to restaurant. Daniel, James, and Novie are already there. A pissed Beau is fixing to join them. I wipe Luke's dirty footprint off the front of my shirt and my mum grabs my wrist.

"I need to talk to you and Camille," she says, "go ahead Luke, go try and calm down Beau." He nods and walks off to the restaurant.

"What is this about?" Camy asks.

"It's about you two," my mum tells her.

"What about us?" I ask. She lets out a sigh and continues to talk,

"I know you two tell each other everything, and you are very close to each other-"

"Yea what about it?" I cut off her sentence.

"Jai," Camy says with a worried look on her face. I shut up and indicate for my mum to continue.

"Okay," my mum says, "I know about everything Camille. Why don't you come talk to me from now on instead of Jai? Beau is getting suspicious." I look at Camille and she isn't looking at me or my mum, she is is looking at her phone where a picture of her and Beau is her background.

"Okay, I understand," she says. She puts away her phone and looks at me. "Let's go inside now," she says.

"Okay, see you later mum," I say and I give my mum a kiss on the cheek. She pats my on the arm and walks to her car. When we are out of earshot from my mum I whisper to Camille, "Why was my mum here? Why didn't she just call?" Camille doesn't even look at me.

"Maybe she was coming get food? You didn't notice how she had a coke in her hand?" she says. I feel so dumb. I love how she pays attention to everything, even though it makes me sound dumb sometimes. We walk into the building and we see Beau on the verge of tears.
