Darkness

chapter 1

Oh god why is it so cold. I thought to myself. Walking down the road.
let me give you some back story of why i am here.  

I was at home relaxing in my bed listening to 5sos when out of nowhere my mum bellowed up the stairs '' Kate go to the store and get some milk''. ''Why cant you ? '' I questioned, '' I am making dinner'' Mum replied. ''Fine''. I quickly slide on my boots and wrapped my scarf around my neck.

I sped down the stairs and grabbed my coat and purse.''Bye mum I'll be back soon'' i shouted towards the kitchen the fresh smell of mince meat coming through the door.
''Bye hun''.

This then brings us to where i am now. Freezing cold, carrying a bottle of milk. I turned the corner, now only around the corner from my home.
the road down here was always dodgy, the lights flickered and there were feral cats running around hissing at anything that moved. All in all not a nice place.

Then a fear inducing hiss ripped  through the sky sounding unsettlingly close. Oh god what was that? I thought. Distracted by my own thoughts  i did not see a man,about 26, running towards me at full speed. ''Ahhhh'' we both fell to the floor in a tangled mess his tattooed arm almost crushing my ribs.(they were very muscly).

The man,realising he landed on top of a person, scrambled to get up. We both made eye contact but before either of us could talk another  low hiss was heard from behind us.
Without giving me time to react the mysterious guy who ran into me picked me up, threw me over his shoulder and started to run. Only then is when I saw a glimpse of  the thing that hissed. It was a man who looked to be in his mid twenty's, he had glowing green eyes and  dyed green hair. He seemed to be about 5 foot 9 and he had abnormally sharp teeth.

Me being me screamed,loudly. This seemed to catch green eyes,that's what i am referring to him as, attention and his head snapped to face towards us. His eyes locked onto my retreating body and he let out a ferocious snarl and started to run after me and the still unknown man.
''Get back here Fischbach'' green eyed practically growled.

The man known as Fischbach  took a sudden sharp turn down an alleyway and slowed to a stop and gently placed me on the ground against the wall.
Finally i had the courage to talk '' Who are you and why did you pick me up and run?''. ''My name is Mark and i picked you up and ran because i did not want either you or me getting hurt.'' ''Why would you care about me, you don't know me.'' I questioned. Before he could reply i fired another question his way ''and more importantly why was that mans eyes glowing.''

'' firstly I honestly don't know why i felt the need to protect you but i did and 'that mans' eyes were glowing because he is a monster.'' Mark responded.'' A monster, seriously you expect me to believe that. '' I retorted. '' Yes a monster ,i am one as well but i am not as dangerous as him'' he replied scarily calm. '' W-what are yo-ou'' i stuttered. '' I am a werewolf'' Mark stated. suddenly feeling brave i said something that i am pretty sure i would regret''show me'' ''what?'' ''Show me you are a werewolf''  ''ok'' and in an instant marks figure was replaced with a human sized wolf. it was a beautiful creamy, brown colour. His eyes were an enchanting purple colour. i stretched my figures out and stroked his fluffy wolf ear.
It felt so soft. 'Get on my back' ''What the hell,who was that!''i exclaimed.

'It was me,Mark, I am talking to you through my mind' ''Because that's normal'' I retorted. 'Get on my back I will take you home, you are still in danger' ''ok,lets go''. I clambered onto his furry back. 'Ready?' ''yep leggo.'' Mark set of into the night ,his paws pounding against the pavement.
''I hope you realise I lost my bottle of milk because of you.'' 'I saved you and that's what you focus on.' Before i knew we were outside my home. ''How do you know where I live?'' 'I have seen you around'  ''Well i have got to go, bye Mark.'' i said goodbye and walked into my home. ''Kate where's the milk?'' '' I kind of forgot to check if i had enough money'' I replied sheepishly. that's ok i will just have to get you to get some tomorrow. Come sit down and have dinner.''

skipping dinner...

''Night mum''I shouted into the hallway.
''Night sweetie'' She shouted back.

I got settled into bed and tried to go to sleep but all i could think of is these formidable neon green eyes.
