Darkness

chapter 2

I woke up with a start,the sound of clattering came from my wardrobe. What on earth is that? I thought to myself. I slowly and carefully crept towards my wardrobe and tried to sneak a look inside. I was only meet with a pair of glowing neon green eyes.
''Oh god'' i exclaimed,but it was to late. I was suddenly pushed against my bedroom wall and a low hiss was produced from green eyes mouth,his sharp teeth on show.

Before i could completely register what was going on question was fired my way. '' How do you know the mutt?'' he questioned. I look at him quizzically, ''Who? do you mean mark?''. ''So you are on first name basis with him are you?'' he spoke as if he was accusing me of a crime.
''Well not really,I know his first name but he does not know mine.'' ''So what is your name?'' he questioned. ''Kate, whats yours?'' I asked him.

''My name is Jack, see i am closer to you then Mark is.''Jack spoke Marks name as if it were poison.''Well physically we are, you do have me pushed against my bedroom wall'' i replied wittily. ''Don't test my patience child'' jack growled. Insulted i replied ''I am not a child i am 19,i am an adult.'' ''To me you are a child.'' ''How old are you for me to be considered a child?'' I spoke with confusion.''I am 225 years old'' he stated as is it was supposed to be something to be proud of.''Y-your 2-25 years o-old.'' I said completely shocked of the situation i was in.

''Don't stutter, it makes you seem weak.'' he said sounding so sure of himself. ''Why would you care?'' I asked,curiosity within my tone. '' How do you know Mark?'' he said, completely ignoring my question. '' I met him when he was running away from you, he ran into me and then picked me up and kept running. Then you came round the corner and shouted at Mark'' I said recalling most of last nights events.
''So you were the thing he was carrying'' he said mainly talking to himself. ''If you don't mind me asking why was Mark running away from you?'' I asked being careful of what i said, just in case i anger him.

''I threatened him. And before you ask anything else it was because he stopped me from finishing my dinner.'' Stupidly i was curious enough to ask '' what was your dinner?'' ''It was an unhealthy skinny girl,she had fake blonde hair and a tight crop top and booty shorts which could be considered as knickers. Basically she looked super slutty and she spoke with an unnaturally high pitched voice.''

It's when he finished his sentence that is started to get worried. The description of the girl remind me of someone i knew. I hated her,she is/was called Brittany was was head of the cheer leading team and seemed to have slept with everyone from the football team. ''What's wrong you spaced out?'' Jack questioned. ''Did you kill her?'' ''What,why do you--'' ''Just please answer the question.'' He froze for a second and then replied '' Yes, I did.'' Then I lost it. I started to hyperventilate and sob. '' Hey,hey what's wrong?'' Jack asked for some reason worried. ''Ar-re you h-here to-o kill me-e?'' I questioned growing more and more scared.

''NO,no I am not, calm down.'' Jack began to stroke my hair and rocked me side to side. From all the crying i started to feel sleepy. ''Jack..'' ''shh just go to sleep'' Jack spoke to me in a soothing voice.

My vision then slowly faded to darkness.

(Sorry this Chapter is shorter, I wrote most of a chapter and i was really happy with it but for some reason it did not save) :(
