"There's going to be six of us - you, me, Layla and three other girls, two of them are dating," Spencer informed him as they drove through the town, lights flashing and disappearing behind them in the dark night.
"What do you mean they're dating?" He didn't know why Spencer would tell him that, he never cared about people's relationship statuses.
"Each other. Lesbians."
"Aha."
The fact left Kaden's mind as soon as he acknowledge it, he knew many gay people and never had issues with them.
The red numbers by the wheel read 11.17 PM, which meant that they were exactly seventeen minutes late. Living in the same apartment didn't help with Spencer's timing, no matter how many times Kaden would call him.
Spencer parked his car right behind the club and they exited it. The music was booming through the thin walls of the small object, a small group of girls standing by it. Spencer, followed by Kaden, approached them.
"Spence!" one of the girls threw her arms around his neck and slammed her lips against his. It was Layla for sure, she looked just the way Spencer described her - pretty, dark skin, long brown hair and a great, thick body.
"This is Kaden," Spencer gestured towards the tall guy with a sloppy, messy bun on top of his head. The thick brows drew attention to his dark, almost black eyes, a mustache outlining his full, pink lips. He was dressed in black, and a strong scent followed him as he moved around.
"Kaden - Melanie, Tamara and Zoie," he pointed towards the rest of the girls. Melanie looked similar to Layla, only her skin was a bit lighter. Tamara had bright gray eyes and white, bleached hair pulled up in a ponytail. There was a septum ring hanging from her nose, and a couple of them hanging from her ear. The last girl, Zoie, had shoulder length, dark brown hair and big, blue eyes.
"Yeah, okay. Now let's go, this place is already packed," Tamara said in an Australian accent. She started walking, clearly annoyed, in what seemed to represent a black dress, and everyone followed her.
In a few minutes they were in the club, seated. Different shades of purple and blue rotated around them, flashing through the different types of bottles on the glass black table.
Spencer and Layla were with the group for roughly twenty minutes before they disappeared, so Kaden was left alone with the rest. He eyed all of them as he brought the cold glass to his lips. Tamara had one of her arms behind Melanie, and with the other one she held a cigarette. It didn't take very long for her to get drunk, and in only a few minutes she was laughing at everything Melanie was saying. The other girl, Zoie, sat by them, but kept staring at her phone. She didn't look as fun as her friends. Even though her dress was tight and it showed off her body quite well, it wasn't as revealing as the dresses Melanie and Tamara were wearing, which was already hinting something about her. Kaden carefully studied her, noticing that she hasn't had anything to drink either. Her eyebrows were slightly scrunched as she studied the screen of her phone.
Kaden put down his glass, washing down the alcohol in his mouth, and stood up. He walked over to her, but she didn't notice him until he placed his hand on her naked back. Her skin was ice cold, a complete contrast to the rest of the room, which was filled with some and sweaty bodies.
"What?" she asked, looking up at him.
"I want to buy you a drink," he smirked at her.
"I'm good, thanks," she blinked two times and her eyes drifted back to her phone.
"Oh, Zoie, you should goooo," Tamara spoke in a low tone, dragging the words, but Zoie just ignored her. Finally, the whitehead took the piece of plastic from Zoie's hands and placed it in her bag.
