"FUCK!" Spencer shouted from his room as Kaden entered the apartment.
"Spencer?" Kaden dropped his bag and opened the door in his room.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," he recited, demolishing his room.
"What's going on?" Kaden looked at the mix of clothes, covers and other random items on the floor.
"I lost Layla's dress!" he panicked, "no, someone had to steal it! I remebet putting it in my closet!"
"So? Just tell her?" Kaden didn't see the problem.
"It's our two months anniversary Kade! And she's coming over in less than an hour! I'm dead, I'm so dead," he rubbed his face.
"When is she here?" Spencer asked, looking at his phone. It was 5:16PM.
"At six!! I didn't even cook anyhing, I didn't get her flowers, I didn't set the tables! Fuck my life!" he started throwing what was left in his closet.
"Okay, stop," Kaden scrached the back of his neck, "you go get her a new dress, I'll cook something and get the flowers. Oh, and call her and tell her to come thirty minutes later. Say that your parents came to visit or some shit."
"You're the best," Spencer took his phone and his jacket, "red roses."
He tapped Kaden's back and ran outside.
Kaden started preparing chicken with tomatoes and garlic, which he knew Spencer drooled over, and hopefully Layla would too. Once it was done he quickly made a chocolate melting cake and headed out the door.
There was a small flower shop by their flat, the one Kaden would always go to if he needed to get flowers for someone.
He parked in front of it, but suddenly realized that it was gone. All that was left of it was an empty space, with a paper taped to the glass.
He got out of the car and came closer.
Bett's Flowers moved to a new location. Come visit us there!
Kaden quickly typed down the new address and got back into his car, turning on the GPS.
After a few minutes, he was in a completely different part of the town. The new location was probably a lot better for the shop - the streets seemed much more crowded and once Kaden walked in, he wasn't the only customer in the shop, which was rarely the case.
The new space was much bigger than the old one, painted in a light pink shade, with small lights hanging around the shelves of flowers.
He waited in the line for a few minutes as Spencer texted him nonstop, asking where the hell he was.
K: Are you sure you don't want white roses?
S: why the hell would I want white roses?
K: They're prettier
S: just shut up and get me what I asked you to
"I'll have-" Kaden started saying when his turn finally came, but the girl behind the counter cut him off.
"Sir, I'll have to ask you to wait just a second for my coworker, as my shift just ended."
The girl disappeared behind the brown door, and just as it closed, it opened yet again, only this time Kaden was left out of breath.
