do gray's parents see what's happening to gray?
can't they see his pain? his suffering?
can they see him at all?
or do they choose not too?
they're dolls in a doll house, just like everyone else
repressing feelings to impress someone else.
the puppet and puppeteer are aliens in this place
and so the dolls paint them a new, pretty face.
the dolls bring tears to gray's eyes, which he releases at his pillow each night
anika has run out of tears, and is too tired, and done with living
why can't she walk without fright?
why isn't this dollhouse forgiving?
