The day had finally finished. Nothing much happened with Jason I just showed him to each class and luckily had none with him, apart from English.
I walked out the school doors and into the parking lot. I approached my white Range Rover I unlocked it and jumped inside. I put in the keys and exited out the school gates. It didn't take long to get home. I parked in the garage next to my dads car and jumped out and walked inside the house.
I walked into the kitchen where I was met by my mum.
"Hey Clary, how was school?" She asked
"Alright I guess, " I said "I've got loads of homework I'm gonna go do that"
"Okay" she replied as I ran up the stairs
I sat on my bed and went through Facebook on my silver iPhone 5s when I got a text
'Hey baby, what's up?' The text read.
It was from an unknown number.
Who was it?
I didn't think too much of it and carried on scrolling through Facebook.
Around 10 minutes later my phone rang.
'Unknown'
I hesitated but answered.
"Hello?" I asked
"Hey babe you okay?" I heard my boyfriend Matty ask
"Oh hey Matty yeah thanks, sorry I didn't realise it was you. It came up as unknown?" I said
"Oh yeah shit sorry I put it as that and obviously forgot to change it" he apologised
"Oh okay it's fine don't worry, was that you who texted me then?" I asked him
"No what? I haven't texted you? Did someone text you?" He asked worried
"Oh no don't worry" I laughed awkwardly
"Oh uh okay, anyway I was wondering if you wanted to come over?" He asked
"Of course I do" I smiled even though he couldn't see me
"Okay baby I'll see you in 10, yeah?"
"Yeah see ya!" I said and hung up
I grabbed my bag and went downstairs.
"Where are you going?" My mum asked
"Just to Matty's, I won't be too late" u replied
"Okay have fun!"
I decided to walk as it was a nice day and he doesn't live far. When I got to his house I knocked on the door and a few moments later he answered.
"Hey babe" he said and kissed me
He took my hand and we went upstairs to his room. I put my bag down beside his bed and my phone on the table beside it. We decided to watch a movie together so we watched The Hunger Games. We were laying on his bed and he had his arm around me as I leaned on his chest.
"Matty?" I said looking up from his chest
"Mhm?" He answered
"I'm just gonna go to the toilet"
"Okay babe"
I got up and went to the toilet and did my business. Once I finished I came out and walked back into his room. He was standing in front of the bed with my phone in his hand.
"What the fuck is this?!" He said angrily
"W-what?" I stuttered
"Why the fuck has someone texted you calling you 'baby'?!" He shouted
"I-i don't know! I don't know who it is!" I tried to argue back
"Bullshit!" he shouted and threw my phone at me.
He ran towards me and lifted his hand to my cheek and suddenly I felt a stinging sensation and felt the blood rush to my cheek. He grabbed me a shoved me across the room and I hit my head against the hard wall.
I tried to get myself up onto my feet and get away from him. I grabbed my bag and ran. I ran down the stairs and out the door quickly before he could catch up to me. I ran to I don't know where but after about 10 minutes I stopped and slumped against a brick wall.
The tears began to fall as I clutched my burning cheek and my now bruised head.
