CH.21 Briggette waking up

Andy's pov

It's been a lonely two and a half days. Bri should be waking up. She twitches every now and then. It's a good sing. I hardly ate and slept. I needed to be awake when she wakes. She might freak out. She don't like hospitals. Me,Sky,and CC left the room and went outside to get some fresh air. I didn't want to leave. CC and Sky dragged me out. Sky is skinny and yet she dragged me out. "Alright there I'm out here with you two. But Why did I have to come?"

"Andy you need fresh air. You can't just stay in there with my cousin and not eat or get fresh. You have to keep your self strong for her. I'm trying my best to do so. You need. Your the best boyfriend she ever had. That night we were having the fruit fight was the last time I seen you and her happy." She started to cry. "Please Andy. Do this her. She's really going to need you when she wakes up."

"Sky I failed to keep her safe-" She cut me off.

"No you didn't. You didn't know David was going to be there. You did you best."

"I'm so so sorry." I started to cry. Sky came over and hugged me. CC broke up the crying with some thing to make us laugh.

"Well this is awkward. My girlfriend hugging her cousins boyfriend." We just started laughing.

"CC,she's like a sister. And I'm just-" He cut me off.

"I know dude. It's fine."

Briggette's pov

I woke up in this strange room. I couldn't really move. I looked around. No one was in there. Then I heard the beeping of a heart monitor. I was in a hospital. I screamed. A nurse came in to to see who was screaming. "Good Ms.Robertson your awake."

"What do you mean? How long was I asleep?"

"Two and half days. You slipped in a coma after a really bad beating. Your friend should be coming back in soon. Do you remember anything that happened?"

"Um....I remember taking my sister to her boyfriends house. My boyfriend was there to. Hey boyfriend Damon came out. I wanted to have a talk with him. My ex was there. He wanted to kill me. My boyfriend Andy got into a fight with David my ex because he tried to hit me. Damon tried to get my sister Kellie when she ran back out to the car. Damon started beating me after I punched him. I was on the ground being kicked in my stomach. Then my boyfriends band mates came. My sister called them. She also called 911. Then I remember coughing up blood and being put into the ambulance."

"OK good you do remember. You slipped into a coma right before you got here. You also had surgery on you stomach to stop the internal bleeding. I'll go get your friends. I think they are down stairs. Be right back." I nodded. When I was asleep well in the a come,I seen my Grammy. She told me It's not time yet. "Time yet for what Grammy?"

"To die. Your in a coma. You can't leave them yet. I'll be here waiting my angel. I watch over you every day. I'm always there. Please don't cut your arm. Andy can see the hurt in your eyes. You need to talk to him."

"Grammy don't go please." Was all I said before I woke up. Remembering the talk with my Grammy brought tears to my eyes. Then Andy,Sky,and CC came running in with tears in their eyes. Andy dove to me hugging me and crying even more. "God I'm so so so so so sorry. I promised I'd keep you safe. I failed."

"No you didn't. My Grammy was there. She helped. Sky I seen her right before I woke up." I said letting the tears stream.

"I told you cuz,Grammies always watching." She said as we cried together. Andy didn't let go of me. When we stopped crying I asked."How long were you guys here?"

"The full two and a half days you were in a come. I never left. Sky forced me to eat and to leave this room."

"Wow. See my cousin can take care of people. She's just like me. If it were you in this bed she'd be forcing food down my throat and literally dragging me out side. Thank you Sky for doing so."
