Chapter 16

The next day
Noah's pov
Today I'm going to tell Richelle how I feel about the baby.
"Hey Richelle, can I talk to you for a few minutes?" I ask.
"Sure." She replies.
"Well um you see....." I trailed off.
"See what." She says back.
"I don't really want the baby." I said firmly looking at her.
"What? Why? I thought that you would be pleased because you always wanted a big family." She said looking scared.
"I thought about it and I'm happy with just one child. Sorry." I said and walked off.
I left Richelle there, speechless.

Richelle's pov
What just happened? Noah always wanted a big family and now he is just leaving me to deal with this by myself. Does he still love me? Oh no, he doesn't love me any more.  I feel sad as I start to think about it. Then a thought crosses my mind. Will Noah make me put the baby up for adoption? I don't want to. I want to keep it. It's my baby so I feel like it's my decision. But if I don't put it up for adoption, then Noah might leave me. What am I going to do?

The next day. Also Richelle has told Amber and she was fine with it.
Richelle's pov
Right now Amber is at school and Noah is at work. I don't know how I'm going to tell him that I want the baby. He thinks that I don't want it. Hopefully when I tell him I won't cry because I have a habit of doing that at the moment.
Suddenly I hear a crack on the window. I turn around and see that someone is throwing rocks through the window. Then the door smashes open and slammed down on the ground. Two men wearing black clothing walk in through the door with guns and I run out the back door as fast as I could. They didn't see me luckily.
I was running towards The Next Step, towards Noah. This was the fastest I had ever run. Suddenly I heard a bang from behind me and a tiny object fly past me-
it was a bullet. They had seen me and were trying to shoot me. I just kept running, and running.
A few more bullets shot past me and I dodged them.
Just after that they stopped shooting and didn't follow me. However, I think that they might be breaking into our house.
Then I arrive at The Next Step. I run into studio a and see that they are rehearsing their nationals routine. They all stop and stare at me.
Then Noah sees me.
"Richelle?" He says.
"Take five everyone." He says and I run into his office and grab the phone
"Richelle what are you do-" he stops as soon as he hears me say 'police' into the phone.
He stares at me worriedly and waits until I finish on the phone. I start panting because I just non-stop ran five miles.
"What happened?" He said looking scared.
"Well I was just sitting in the lounge when I heard a window crack. I looked at it and saw that someone was throwing rocks into the house. Then the front door crashed to the ground and two men dressed in black with guns came inside. I ran out the back door and ran all the way here. However they saw me and tried to shoot me on the way. Luckily they missed." I said.
Noah was speechless.

Noah's pov
What? Richelle almost died? I can't believe it. Is she making this up?
"Are you making this up?" I say suspiciously.
"What? No! I just called the police!" She yelled back at me.
"Sorry." I say back and hug her.
I'm surprised she isn't crying. She always cries.
Suddenly I scream.
"What?!" Richelle says back.
"Richelle they didn't miss when they shot you." I said and pointed to her foot. Blood was pouring out of it.
Then Richelle looked at it then fainted. I sat her down in a chair and then called an ambulance. I ran back out into studio a and sent one of my a troupers to grab the first aid kit. When she returned I bandaged up Richelle's foot.
Then the ambulance arrived and took Richelle off on a stretcher.  They carried her onto the ambulance and I went with them.
I texted the dance captain and said that rehearsal may be postponed for a few days. Especially today.
Oh God, Richelle has been shot. Wait a second, Richelle is pregnant as well. Will the baby die? I need to talk to Richelle about that -
if she wakes up.
