VICS POV 

its been a few weeks  since i was seriously thinking about proposing to Ellie. Im going over to my parents house to talk to my parents and mike about it while Ellie goes to therapy. I finally convinced her to get the help shes needed. I went with her the first 2 times but now shes going alone. Im so happy shes been clean ever since that day at the ice cream shop. She still has flashbacks but she is getting so much better. Thats why ive been thinking of marriage so much. We've been through thick and thin in this relationship even though we've only been dating for about a year. All these thoughts play throughout my mind as i drive to my parents house and im almost 100% sure of what im gonna do. Im gonna marry her.

ELLIES POV

Im so glad i listened to Vic and started to go to therapy. Its helped so much and my therapist is really sweet. Her name is Dr. Grayson and shes really helped me open up about my feelings and depression. Vic has been acting kinda weird lately. Usually hes always really sweet and understanding but now hes even sweeter and sometimes gets nervous like its our first date. I don't know whats up but we are going out to a restaurant later so Ill ask him.

VICS POV 

" Hijo you guys have been dating for a reasonable amount of time and we all know that you love her more than anything." My mom told me while stirring a pot of rice. 

" I know but what if she doesn't feel it towards me?" i question. Just the mike grabs me and spins me around.

"Vic shut the hell up and listen to us. If Ellie didn't love you she would've left you like every other girl" I flinched at his words  " but she hasn't. When she looks at you all i see is love and compassion. The poor girl has nightmares sleeping without you vic. I know whole heartedly she loves you more than anything. You both pulled each other out from bad spots." I look around and see my father nodding his head in agreement. 

"Ok im gonna do it. We already have dinner plans at fancy italian place downtown. " I rubbed my hands together and smiled.  My mom came over and hugged me tight. 

"Im so proud of you hijo." she whispered in my ear. " i love you ."

" i love you too mommy." I said back to her

"Thanks guys love you i have to get going to get Ellie." I waved and walked out the door to my car.

Since i kinda knew this was gonna happen i already had the ring and everything so i just had to race home to see my beautiful soon to be fiancee.

An hour later...
I got home and found Ellie sitting in the living room with her friend Claire.  They were watching some crime show ,maybe law and order i dont know.
"Hey babe" I bent down and kissed her.
"Hi hun" she said and kissed me back.
"Hey claire long time no see ." I said and she laughed. I know claire and ellie are best friends but lately she hasnt been arond.
" yeah I went out of state with my family for a month for a vacation and looking at college programs and then started a semester at university of arizona .  Then i went to rome for the rest of the year." she explained.

Ellie already told me this a few months ago but I forgot and needed to fill the silence with small talk.

"Oh cool hows that going?" I asked and sat down on the couch next to Ellie who then cuddled up under my arm. My god shes perfect.
"Its been going pretty well actually.  My grades are way better than high school. "She laughed.
"Thats good " Ellie gave her a smile.
Ellie looked at her phone and jumped. "Umm claire im so glad we got to hang out but me and vic have dinner plans and its almost time to go so..." her cheeks turned pink. 
"Oh yeah shit i didnt realize the time i have to go meet my new boyfriend tyler in less than an hour." She said and started gathering her stuff.
Ellie went and hugged her "bye love you " they both said and claire left.
"Alright babydoll Im gonna go shower and get ready" I said standing up and placing a kiss on top of her head.
"Oh I'll get ready too." She said and walked upstairs to our bedroom.
I quickly showered and put on my tux. I put on my favorite snapback and shoes. I brushed my teeth for the second time and I was ready to go. I think. Ellie walked out of our room and I instantly felt my knees go weak and my heart melt. She was the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen.Her hair was down and curled, she had the slightest bit of makeup, and a rose-blush color dress that looked amazing with her black heels.  And shes gonna be all mine after tonight.
"Wow E-Ellie you look incredible " I managed to stutter out.
Her cheeks flushed to a light pink.
"Thank you vic. You look handsome as usual." She said will she fidgeted with her hands. We finally left and drove to downtown to our favorite italian restaurant. We went in and got seated at a table.
The waiter came and we ordered our food. A few minutes later the waiter came back with our food and we started to eat.
"So hows therapy going?" I ask Ellie.
"Good actually thank you for pushing me to go it actually really helps."
"Aw babe im so glad to hear that." I said and gave her a smile which she returned.
"Vic i love you ya know. I feel like i dont tell you a lot but you've done so much for me." She said and took a small bite of pasta.
"Ellie i love you too and you have no idea how much you've helped me too. I wasnt always open but from now on i will. Promise." I said and i could tell right now was the perfect time to propose.  I looked around and saw a few other couples sitting at tables enjoying each others company and I could see a few were married. I wanted that to be us.
I got dowm on one knee and saw a look of shock on Ellies face.
"Ellie, my world ,my love, my sunshine, my everything i love you. From the moment i saw you working that coffee shop i knew you were meant for me. "She was tearing up and a couple people started to stare but i didnt care.
"You and me have been through thick and thin. Good times and bad. I couldnt imagine being with anyone else and i only wanna be yours forever . Will you marry me?" By now she was full on crying and looking at me.
"Yes vic,  a million times yes." She stood up to kiss and hug me and the restaurant became filled with clapter. I slid the ring on her finger.
"Its beautiful vic."
"Just like you." I said and wiped  her tears. I did it i finally have the girl of my dreams. Forever.
