Mitsuhide's POV

I injected the medicine that would make the demon Kitsune unconscious and defenseless. Yes, now that we have the demon the plan will now commence. I swam upwards carrying the prize over my shoulder, I reached back into the surface. As I did my gaze met back with the one-eyed dragon and his right eye, as soon as they saw their precious subordinate in my clutches I show her as a trophy. Of course, this angered the one-eyed dragon.

Oh, their hateful glares! Hate me more and bring me more despair and suffering. They readied their blades and how I dear so longingly to fight them. However, I remembered the real reason I came here was for the fox. That stimulating battle will be postponed, for now, there will be another time on the battlefield. I cannot wait to hear your anguished and angered scream and battle cries. Before I mount my horse the one-eyed dragon entrained me even more by saying such threats.

Masamune's POV

"You bastard, don't think you'll get away unharmed!"

Seeing Kitsune captured by this crazy bastard made my anger, my rage blow over the top. I ordered Kojurou to not hold back against this crazy bastard. Both of us attacked him, I hated that bastard's face he's still enjoying this.

He didn't go down and he countered our attack, he reached the other side and retreated. I was about to run after him to get Kitsune back, but Kojurou had to stop me from being reckless. It was painful to have her taken away from me, but I have to bear with it and accept it.

Once we regroup with our army we'll charge in Oda's castle and take back Kitsune. I searched the area for my rival and his lord, one of their retainers found them and announced their location. All I saw was Yukimura yelling for his lord, something in him was changing him. But, it's just like how I feel right now. I wonder though why is it that when Kitsune seems to not be at my side I am at unease?

No one's POV

As Akechi Mitsuhide returned to his lord, Oda Nobunaga, he carried the unconscious Kitsune with him. That woman was part of a diabolical plan to bring Oda immense power. Mitsuhide grew to adore, no to admire the sixth heavenly demon Oda Nobunaga.

Anyone that admires a man that only wants to destroy everything is also as mad as that person little did Nobunaga know about Mitsuhide's plot. As Mitsuhide ordered Oichi to summon the sorcerer's they hired something not of this world happened.

The unconscious female's body was surrounded by a black shroud of fog or smoke. It was as if it understood its host body's situation, as the sorcerers arrived all of them were attacked by the black essence. Some of them even went to attack the host body which was defended by the black essence.

Mitsuhide being the Oda army's strategist devised a plan to get close to the host body so they could perform the ritual to make Nobunaga powerful. They simply had to wait until the dawn of tomorrow and see if the black essence diminishes little by little.

They left Kistune alone in the darkness, deep inside her mind, however, she was having a conversation with her demon. Well more like a dispute than a conversation, but it came to an abrupt stop when Kitsune felt something wrong. She did not know what it was, but she knew that something had happened to Masamune and the army.

Because of her worried state of mind, the black essence that protected her grew smaller by only a centimeter. Kitsune could only hope that she was being worried about nothing until tomorrow.

The dawn was soon approaching however, the dark skies still would not go away. The dark atmosphere was affecting Kitsune as she could feel all the pain, suffering, and hatred the resided in the castle. The black essence was finally diminished and the ritual began.
