Chapter 5

When Mateo got home he texted me quickly. We were up until 12 until i said,"I think we should go to bed. See you tomorrow."

I did my routine for going to bed. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, yada yada. Before i went to sleep i stared at the ceiling for a bit about when Mateo had kissed me. I smiled and thought to myself,"I hope he kisses me again. I think I'm really in love with him." Then i shut my eyes and went to sleep.

My mom woke me up to get ready for school. I got up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, then i put my tribal print pencil skirt on with my plain brown shirt and my black heels. I ate breakfast and ran out of the door. My mom yelled,"Do you have your flats so when your feet hurt you can put those on?"

I yelled back,"Yes mom." Then Mateo pulled up and rolled the window down. He winked at me as i got in the car. I said,"Well would you look at that you have your drivers license."

He said,"Why yes i do. Got mine before you did."

I said,"No i got mine in the summer. So ha got mine before you did." He leaned in to kiss me. I nodded my head saying,"No no you gotta drive." He pulled me close to him.

He said,"I don't care. We are at a light. So come here." Then he kissed me.

Sara came up saying,"Ew you guys have company inside your car. Do that somewhere else on your own time?" I laughed.

"Sara don't try to act all innocent. You know you want to kiss your Cody guy." Mateo and I said.

She said,"Shut up that's different."

I said,"Oh sure it is." Then we pulled up in front of Misak's house. Brianne happened to be there with him cause she knew it would save gas for Mateo.

Brianne and Misak got in. I asked Mateo if i could drive the rest of the way to the school and he said yes.

We started making our way to Claremont. When we got there. Mateo got out of the car. He grabbed my hand to hold it while going to Biology class. Everyone was staring at us so it made me think we were in the twilight. I smiled then pushed my hair behind my ear. He turned to me and asked me what i was smiling about. I said,"Well i was just thinking about the movie Twilight where everyone was staring at us cause we were holding hands." He smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

When we got to Biology class Sara said,"Okay Mr.Gootsenburg is wearing the most ridiculous outfit today." I nodded in agreement. Mateo winked at me then smiled. I told him with the movement of my lips,"Olive Juice."

He said,"I love you too."

I said,"That's not what i said. I said Olive Juice."

He said,"I knew that."

We started doing our work when Mr.Gootsenburg said,"Now class today we will be dissecting a frog." The whole class made a face in disgust. "Now go find lab partners." Mateo and I looked at each other. When Mateo grabbed the tool to dissect the frog. I gagged then ran out. Mateo came behind me saying,"Miya its okay. It was just a little bit of frog guts. He lifts my head and pulls my head close to his face.

I said,"No we are in school. Plus we don't need to kiss all the time." He nodded his head.

That's when Mr.Gootsenburg walked out asking if i needed to go home.
