2 WEEKS LATER;

Today is the day of the battle rounds, well for Ricky's team. Joel and Delta's teams have already gone. A girl on Deltas team Rachel (black straight hair 2 elbows, blue eyes) made it through, I'm glad because once really got to know her over the past 2 weeks

Ricky paired me up with a girl Lizzie to battle it out singing; Love Somebody; By Maroon 5, I know the song off by heart and I've sung it so many times it'll make your head spin so I'm confident that I'll go pretty good

It's about 5minutes before I go on and I'm a nervous wreck! On the outside I look calm and collected but on the inside, I'm going crazy

Something I've always been wondering lately is has my family seen me yet? Or do I have to make it to the grand final so they can see me? I wish I had one with me now....

Anyway, off that topic, I'm wearing ocean blue skinny jeans with black flats, a white top, my hair has been tied up into a pony tail except two strands that are in ringlets that fall right in front of my ears and I applied a small amount of blush and mascara making my look more 'natural'

I take a deep breath and start walking as I'm called to come onto stage, Lizzie and I hold the microphones in front of our lips as we sing away.........

As soon as we finished, the whole audience applauded, bringing a smile to my face. Once the applauding died down Delta went first to say who she thought should go through first

(A/N- IN THIS CASE IT WILL BE RICKY WHO TRULY DECIDES WHO GOES THROUGH 'CAUSE IT'S HIS TEAM)

"Well, that was incredible for one thing, I just don't know who to pick........ but I'd have to choose Taylor"

OMG! She thought I was good!!!

It went down from Delta, Joel chose Lizzie and Seal chose me then Ricky the one who can end or continue our journey by saying a name

"I thought that was absolutely beautiful, both of you did a absolutely wonderful job,a big thing in singing isn't just the voice, it's whether you can connect with everyone, and the girl who truly connected.......was Taylor"

Woah wait.... WHAT?!?!?! Did he just say my name???? Holy mother of monkey milk he did too!!!!! Aaaahhhh I'm through!!!

I walk down the stairs to give Ricky a huge hug then I walk backstage to be congratulated by everyone who has made it

through in Ricky's team

Maybe I could even ask Ricky if he could help me in finding my true family

Ricky's POV

Taylor's going to win I just know it, her ability of just connecting with everyone around her is truly an amazing skill to master, just looking at her eyes you can tell there's something missing from her life, a part of her that has always been missing, something that she keeps wishing for, something she's been searching for her whole life, something that we take for granted, something to make her feel truly loved............ and THAT is what makes her voice and the the songs she sings sound to meaningful and that she's on a mission and has a purpose in this competition..................

To find her family......................

In another few weeks time it will be live and broadcasted all around the world, and I'll be making sure some people I know will be watching her.........

Just letting you all know, this chapter has basically been a filler chapter for the next chapter that 1D will be making an appearance in!!!!!!
