So here is chapter 3. I'm really trying to get these chapters out as quickly as possible.

Sorry if there are any grammar/spelling errors. I didn't really get a chance to proofread my writing, which I really should work on.

Anyway, Enjoy!

Chapter 3 (Jamie's POV)

Out in the distance, I could see a mob of hysterical girls running straight towards the restaurant. What caused my state of shock wasn’t the fact that there was a mob of girls running around, but the fact that leading this mob of girls was none other than…

“Ha. I’d never thought I would see the day where Prince Tristan would fearfully be running away from a mob of girls,” Talia laughed, appearing at the window to watch the disturbance outside. This was yet another reason Talia and I were such good friends; surprisingly, she was probably the only other girl in the country who hadn’t fallen under Tristan’s spell.

I could have watched Tristan run for his life all day, but seeing as though the mob was heading straight for the restaurant, I knew we had to do something.

“Now I know neither one of us care about what happens to the beloved Prince, but we do have a huge crowd of girls heading straight for us. Any thoughts?” I asked, glancing over at a practically giddy Talia.

She ignored me, and continued to watch with delight as the crowd drew nearer and nearer, causing me to go into panic mode.

“Talia!” I yelled, “This is so not the time to lose focus. We have about 50 girls running straight for us and unless we do something, we, along with the restaurant, will be trampled.”

Talia groaned and turned to me. “Fine. Even though I sooo don’t want to do this, I will help the little prince weasel his way out of trouble. But after this whole thing blows over, you totally owe me a Starbucks non-fat latte and a mani-pedi.”

“Deal!,” I quickly nodded my head. I regrettably, looked out the window and could feel fear and adrenaline course through my body. I looked over a Talia, who was deep in thought, and began impatiently tapping my foot. While Talia might be the brains of most operations, she definitely liked to take her time, which is something we really didn’t have right now.

“If you don’t stop tapping your foot Jam, I will personally throw you out into that mob,” she threatened, not leaving her trance-like state. I rolled my eyes, but quieted my foot and started taking deep breaths, hoping to calm down my racing heart.

“I’ve got it!” Talia shouted, causing me to jump a good foot in the air. Well so much for those deep breathing exercises. “Since we only have a limited amount of time, this plan kinda blows compared to others. But it will have to do.”

I smiled, trying to encourage her to continue with her idea. “So what’s going to happen is just as the mob reaches the restaurant, you’re going to grab him and pull him into the side entrance. Now, I’m assuming these girls aren’t complete idiots and will see you’ve grabbed him. That’s where I come in. Once you’ve got him in the restaurant, I will simply approach the girls and lead them away from here.”

I scoffed at that last sentence. “And how might I ask, will you simply lead the girls away from here? It will take a miracle to get them out of here.”

Talia laughed, “You don’t need a miracle my dear Jamie. All you need is to point them in the wrong direction. I claim I saw the Prince sneak around the back and head off towards the castle and before you know it, you have the Prince Tristan fan club heading in the total opposite direction.”

I had to hand it to Talia, she may not come up with the best plans, but she always oozed confidence, making anyone believe that her lame idea was suddenly genius. So whether or not I knew if this idea was going to work, I knew one thing; the mob was approaching at an alarming pace and this plan was our only chance.
