Chapter 14

    Dimitri's POV

    I was sitting  on the couch in the waiting room , whila Liza and Nate slept peacefully with their heads on my lap .
       I'm still shocked ! The doctors didn't tell me anything about Rose .
        A blonde nurse walked up to me .
        - Hi , you must be Mr. Belikov ? - I just nodded .
        - Mrs . Hathaway is okay now . I mean she's still in coma , but her condition is finally stable. If you want , you can go and see her , she's in room 219 . - the nurse said , kindly .
     I only nodded in answer .
     I stroked the kids cheeks and softly shake their shoulders .
      They opened their beautiful orbs and looked at me in confusion .
      - Mommy's okay , now . The nurse said we can see her . - they smiled widely.
     We went hand in hand , straight to Rose's hospital room .
     She was laying there , on the bed , like an angel.  Her face was still full with bruises .
       I sat down on a chair , next to her bed . In the room was a black leather couch , so the kids layed down on it .
      I grabbed Rose's hand and gently stroked her cheeks .
      - Hey ....... You scared the pee out of me . I thought you'll die . I told the kids , 'cause I'm their father . I'm sorry if you didn't want to tell them the truth ! They miss you so much and I miss you too . I hope you'll wake up soon ! I want to see your beautifull smile again . I want you to yell at me , like you did when I didn't believe you . I want you to punch me . - I said , almost crying .
       She didn't show any reaction . She was just laying there . I sighed , turned around and looked at the kids . They were sleeping peacefully , cuddling into each other on the couch .
       I smiled at them . They are so cute !
      I heard a loud bang and Lissa rushed in with Christian on her side .
     I immadietely told them to be quiet , because they are asleep .
     She brought a chair and sat down next to me. 
     - I heard about what happened earlier with Rose . Is she okay now ? - she whispered putting a hand on my shoulder in simpathy .
       - She's condition is stable , but she's still in coma ... - I whispered sadly .
       She only nodded in response .
     - We talked with Adrian . He's coming here as soon as possible with the kids.  - Christian said .
     I nodded .
      After an hour Lissa , Christian and the twins left , because the kids were sleepy and it was getting late , I was alone with Rose .
    
          Matt's POV
   How could this happen ? I love her , but I ended up hurting her ! I'm a horrible person ! I want to see her ! I want to see her so badly !
     Without paying attention where I am going I found myself in the centre of the hospital .
     I quickly stopped a nurse , asking for some help .
     - Good night ! Can you tell me please which room is Rose Hathaway's ?
       - Good night ! Oh , the girl in coma . Right her room is number 219 . You have to go up the stairs or use the elevator and her room is the second one on the left ..  - she said , before running away without a single word ......
     I was standing in front of room 219 . What if there is someone with her already ? What if she'll wake up and will feel fear of me ? No , Matt . She's bot like that ! She's scared of nothing ! She's brave and smart ! She will forgive you because she knows that you didn't want to hurt her !
     - Right ..  - I whispered .
    I opened the door to see Rose laying there , with bruised cheeks , broken arm and a cobered head , but she's still beautiful for me.  She's not moving . She's just laying there on the bed  .
    I turned my head to her right side to see that idiot holding her hand . Anger was boiling in my veins . I clenched my fists .
     - Hello   - I said rudely . He looked up in surprise , but when he saw me he immediately stood up . The next thing I remember is an incredible pain on my face and I was on the floor with a bleeding nose .
    - Look at what have you done ? She almost died because of you ! She wanted to help you and what did you do ?! You pushed her and she fell down from the stair ! She has two kids , for God's sake ! You want them to grow up without their mom ! - he yelled at me .
     He is right , but he's the same .
     - You don't have right to judge me ! You're the same as me ! You wanted to help her in every way it's possible like me , but you ended up hurting her too . ou cheated on her and broke her heart . I was the one who was on her side while she were taking care of the twins . I was the twins dad  . - I said , emphasasing the word , dad .
     He clenched his fists and I could see the anger in his eyes .  He jumped on me and all I could feel is pain . Pain in my stomach , on my face 'till I heard a crack.  The door opened and someone pushed Dimitri off of me .
     The same nurse was my saver , who showed me where Rose's room is.  She gave me a weak smile and helped me up .
    I looked at the Dimitri with so much anger , but I deserved it , truly .
    - I deserved this ... - I said , before I walked away ....

     Dimitri's POV
 
   How could he come here after what he had done !? He deserved what he got !
    I sat down back to my chair , grabbed Rose's hand started to talk to her .... again :
       - Matt was here . I don't know what he thinks , but I won't let him near you ever again ! He doesn't deserve it ! I still love you  ! I'm sorry for what I did to you , but I can't go back in time to change the past ! I love you and I will always love you , so please do me the  favor  and wake up , so we can get married and have other kids ! Don't worry , I'll take care of Tasha and  Amy  . You will love Amy . She is a lot like Liza.  They will be best friends , I can see it . If you want to live a happily ever after , all you have to do is forgive me and wake up ! Please .............
