A bone chilling cold had me in a vice grip. I felt like dead weight, a stone waiting to sink if dropped into a river. I couldn't see anything, but I could feel a cloth covering my eyes. I must have shifted while asleep due to the tranquilizer and Goddess I was so cold, my bare body was trembling furiously, coated in goosebumps.I could feel dirt covered metal shackles cuffed around my wrists and ankles. Grimmy with damp mold and dust. The sensations are all too familiar though... I know where I am, and its been so long. So very long. I'm back in my own personal hell. And its all due to my own assumptions... my own mistake.
My heart was pounding in my chest, as if I could feel it hitting my ribcage, drumming in my ears as I attempted to keep a clear head and open my other senses. The room smelled horridly musty and metalic, as if rust had worn away at what metals I couldn't see. The only thing I could hear was the drip of a nearby pipe, slapping the stone concrete below in a metronomic pattern.
The slow steps muffled by the thick metal walls surrounding me echoed mockingly. He was taking his time. The more I waited the longer it would take me to get back to my pack... Now only Xavier and Adrian are running the place. I hadn't even trained him completely yet?! Deemed with the Alpha position, Xavier has to take orders from him. My pack is in the hands of an inexperienced man who still lacks the dominant traits needed to hold the position. He'll be challenged before he can even blink.
I internally cringed as the sounds of concrete and metal scraped against one another. A door was opening and his stinging, putrid scent drowned my nostrils. Fuck... Let this hell begin then.
"Are you awake my sunshine?"
Silence.
"Oh come on now darling, I know you've got to be awake by now, it's been hours already!" He chimed, making his overenthusiastic voice reverberated across the walls.
There's no use in hiding now.
"Just hours? I wish it would've been longer so I wouldn't have to hear your skwaking, it's making my ears bleed." I snorted sarcastically.
Even with the blindfolded on I could feel the smile drop off his face. I've disappointed him. Good. He never liked my attitude anyway, yet he still wants to keep me locked up like a pet.
His footsteps grew louder as the man drew closer to my cold body. I could feel his presence right in front of me. His scent was enveloping me now and his rancid breath fanned my face. I scrunched my nose at the smell, just aching to reel back and snap his nose clean off, that is if I wasn't restrained. My incisors were throbbing relentlessly for his blood as I buried my rage for this man deep down. Now was definitely not the time to let that loose, all in good time and then I'll get to see him die.
"It's been too long my dear, you were just becoming an adolescent before I made that little slip up. Even at such a young age you were quick to take your chance of escape... It's too bad you're family couldn't go with you."
That devil. "Don't you dare speak of them!" I snarled viciously, baring my canines angrily. Nobody else knows what happened to my family. Let alone my first pack. Nobody but him, Xavier and I.
"Oh, have I struck a nerve?" He taunted, to which I only growled in response.
He chuckled, only ticking me off even further, and it wasn't the cold that was making me shake now to say the least. Fury was beginning to creep into my veins.
"And I must say, my my you've filed out well, definitely no longer a child anymore are you, Serenity?" He mused. I noticed the lustful hint his voice took on at that statement and oh hell no. He'll loose his dick if he touches me. I could feel his gaze raking down my body, taking in every detail.
