Chapter 8:Hunger Games

Hayley's P.O.V

I woke up after having a really bad nightmare, it was Liam and that brunette and they were kissing again, right in front of me. I got up and started getting ready to leave the hospital when my phone started ringing. 

"Hello" I answered,  not in a good mood because I haven't slept well but that it wasn't the only thing bothering me, I was also starting to wonder who that girl was and if she still talks to Liam and meets up with him.

"Hi, I was wondering if you would like to come with me to the doctors, I'm going to check how the baby is?" The caller was Imogen.

"I'd love to but I'm really sorry, I can't, I'm being let out of the hospital myself now and all I want to do is sleep." I answered.

"No worries, that's perfectly fine. Hope you get better soon." She said and ended the call.

 I sat in the hospital bed waiting for Liam to pick me up. 

"Oh my God. I'm so sorry Hayley, the traffic was terrible." Finally, Liam ran in panting and then came to hug me.

"It's ok, can we just go?" I asked not really hugging him back, he could tell something was wrong.

"Hayley, what's up?" He asked looking concerned. 

"Nothing, lets go." I got up and started walking to Liam's car. He caught up with me but didn't say anything, he unlocked the car and we got in and started driving. All the way to my house we were quiet and when Liam pulled up by my house I started getting out of the car when Liam grabbed hold of my wrist.

"Please Hayley, I can tell somethings up so just tell me." He pleaded but I pulled my wrist out of his firm grip and closed the car door, slowly I dragged myself to my house door.

Liam's P.O.V

Hayley reached her house door but she didn't take her keys out, she leaned against the wall and sat on the cold concrete, for a moment she looked at me through the car window but then she buried her head in her hands. I drove away not knowing what to do next. At first I didn't know where I was driving until I realized that I was parked outside Josh's and Caitlin's house. I got out the car and went to ring the doorbell. Caitlin answered the door looking shocked to see me there.

"Liam? What's wrong, you seem worried?" She asked, gesturing for me to come inside the house. I sighed before I starting telling her.

"I don't know. It's Hayley, she's not her usual self. I picked her up from the hospital and she was silent the whole way to her house. When she walked up to her door, she didn't go in, she just leaned against the wall and sat down on the ground. What do I do?" I asked Caitlin knowing she would know what to do.

"I'll go and talk to her,but not now, let her calm down and get some rest. I'll go to hers in about an hour." She answered reassuringly as she lead me to the door. I knew I had to give Hayley some space, maybe she's just tired after the hospital. I drove home and went to my bed to have a nap since I haven't really slept much.

Hayley's P.O.V

I was woken up by someone ringing my doorbell, I opened there and saw Caitlin standing in front of me with her beach towel, she was wearing a strapless floral dress and flip flops.

"Well hello there Hayley! Get ready we're going to the beach. Hurry up." She demanded with a smile on her flawless face.

"Nooo, I'm too depressed to go anywhere." I answered but I couldn't hold back a smile. 

"I'm going to force you to get ready. Hurry up before I call back up. Go!" She laughed as she came inside and ran up to my bedroom picking out a outfit for me to wear. This girl always knew what to do. In the end she picked out a black high waisted skirt, a floral crop top and mint green wedges, she finished off my outfit with some sunglasses. I went to the bathroom to get changed and do my hair, I just did a messy bun and we were good to go. 

"So, Liam came to me today, worried as hell about you, what's wrong?" She asked, I wasn't surprised because I pretty much guessed that's why she came.

"Oh my God, Caitlin. I don' know what's going on. Ever since that car crash with us I keep on getting nightmares about Liam kissing another girl and I guess I'm just jealous and worried about what's going on between them now." I answered and it felt so good to tell someone.

"Woah, wait! Are you questioning Liam's loyalty?!" She ran in front of me and stopped walking, paying her full attention to me.

"No. Yes. A little bit. I DON'T KNOW!" I could feel tears building up but I tried to blink them away.

"Hayley. I don't know what happened between him and that girl but I can tell you one thing, right now, he has you and only you. I've only known him for about 2 months but I can tell you that he is the most loyal guy ever. I was at the mall last week with Liam and Josh and a really pretty girl walked past us and Josh looked at her but Liam, he just kept walking ignoring every single girl. He loves you." Caitlin calmed me down but I still needed to talk to Liam but not now, right now I wanted to enjoy the warm sun and Caitlin's company. For the next 3 hours we talked about boys, parties and the hunger games. Shoot. I forgot the filming starts next week and we're going with Liam and Josh!!!! 

It was a great night until I invited Liam over for dinner... I was shocked...I couldn't stop crying..
