Stop This Madness

"Bang." Delirious laughed.

"For a second there, I really thought you had a weapon." I chuckles. "Where's Evan?"

"He's.... uh, sleeping. I got bored so I came here." Delirious told me.

I couldn't really look at him because of the dream. I wasn't even alive in his dream which is pretty upsetting. I'm a survivor.

"Um, Craig and I were just about to watch a movie." I said.

"I could leave if you want..." Delirious pulled out a knife from his sweater. "Or I could wait till Evan gets hear to warn you about something."

I froze. I didn't know what to do. Should I attack and risk it or wait for Evan to save Craig and I? Then, I hear Craig get up. I have to save him, but how? If I try to do anything, Delirious with stab me. I stay calm because that's all I can do.

"Hey Delir-" Craig notices the knife that is right next to my stomach.

"Do anything dumb and he gets it." Delirious said.

I turned my head and saw Craig nod. Delirious motioned me to walk inside. I did I as told. As I walked inside, I noticed another vehicle pull up. Evan was here to save the day.

I sit on the couch. Craig sits next day to me and Delirious sits on the other side of me. He still pointed a knife at me and I was afraid when he was going to hurt me. My front door flew open. Evan walked in with Nogla. Delirious smirked at them. 

"Same thing I told Craig. Try anything stupid and he gets it." Delirious mentioned.

I looked worriedly at Evan and Nogla. Craig started to sniffle. I looked at him and he ended up crying.

"Come and join us. We are watching a movie." Delirious said to them.

They stood where they were. Evan took a deep breath.

"Jonathan, calm down. I can help you overcome your madness." Evan told Delirious.

"But Jonathan is already gone." Delirious said.

"No, he's still in there. You just have to fight it." Evan mentioned.

"Fight what?" Delirious asked.

"Fight your madness." Evan responded.

"No, it's okay. I like being Delirious." Delirious mentioned.

He looked at me and smiled. I got a little scared what was going to happen next. I looked into Jonathan scary blue eyes.

"Now it's your turn." Delirious whispered to me.

My eyes widen as I try to think something to get me out of this situation.

"Jonathan!" Evan shouted. "Don't do it!"

Delirious laughed at what Evam said. Then, he stabbed me in the neck. I had a few seconds to breath before I see only darkness.

(Evan's POV)
Feeling useless again as I just watched Tyler die. Jonathan is very delirious and it's hard to stop him. He keeps doing into this ridiculous circle of madness. I'm guessing we can't stop him from being crazy or is it this game that is doing this?  What if when we get out, I can fall in love with the real Jonathan? Man, I hope we get out of this game fast.

Craig sobbed over Tyler's dead body. I bet he felt upset that he couldn't do anything. It's a shame that we couldn't do anything because if we did, he would've died anyway.

"Jonathan, you weren't supposed to do that. You killed Lui and now Tyler. This is leading you to be alone." I told him.

Jonathan looked at his bloody knife. "I'm doing this so we can be together."

"It's not, Jon. It's really not. You need to stop and think about this." I said.

Delirious was still staring at his bloody knife. I had no idea what he was thinking or planning to do. I had my eye on him just to make sure he didn't try to do anything. Then, he frowned. Daithi walked over to Craig to comfort him.

"I thought this was making me happy. I guess I was wrong." Delirious finally spoke.

I walked to Delirious. I put my hand on his check. He smiled at me.

"When I look at your eyes, I feel safe." He mentioned.

"That's the way it should be, Jon." I said.

"Evan watch out!" I heard Daithi shout.

I turn my head at him and my cheek gets cut from Delirious' knife. He was trying to hurt me. Why me? I back up from Delirious. My cheek was stinging with pain, but I ignored it because something else hurt me more. My broken heart.

Delirious laughed. "Sorry, darling."

"You were going to hurt me." I said.

"I can't help it." Delirious responded.

"Why are you so..." I couldn't finish my sentence. I was so afraid. The thought of Delirious trying to kill me, frightened me.

"Why am I so Delirious?" He asked. "Well that's easy. My father wasn't very nice to me."

"You told me this already." I said.

"He scarred me so I'm going to scar everyone else." He told me.

"Jon, do you even think about the people you hurt?" I questioned

"No, I don't. Wanna know why? It's because it releases my anger I get when I think of my father." He said. 

"Do you know that you hurt me?" 

Delirious put his knife back in his pocket. He looked over at Daithi, Craig, and the dead body next to them. Delirious then looked at me with tears flowing out of his eyes. He just cried making me upset as well. 

"Why am I so stupid? I don't want to hurt anyone anymore, but I can't help it, Evan. I'm sorry for what I did and I'm super sorry for hurting you." He cried. 

I walked over to him and hugged him tightly. I don't are if he tried to kill me anymore, I love him so very much. I understand that he killed my friends, but he couldn't help it. I'm here to help him get over it.

"I'm going to help you. Okay, Jonathan?" I said.

He nodded his head. Then, Daithi pulled me away from him.

"You are going to forgive him? Evan, he killed Lui and Tyler." Daithi explained. 

I looked over at the Jonathan stilling tearing from hurting everyone. Then, I looked at Craig who was still crying from Tyler's death. I looked Daithi in the eyes.

"He needs help. We can't just sit here and watch him suffer." I said.

"He made us suffer, Evan!" Daithi shouted. 

"You don't understand because you don't love him like I do." I said ending the conversation. 

I walked over to Delirious and helped him stand up. I took the knife out of Delirious' pocket. I put the knife on the table near the couch. I looked at Craig and he looked back at me. 

"I'm sorry, Craig. This wasn't supposed to happen." I said. 

Suddenly, someone pushes me to the ground. I look up to see Daithi with a knife pinning Delirious to the wall. 

"Daithi no!" I yelled.

"You are going to pay." Daithi smirked.
