I questioned Marcus as I stood up and readjusted my helmet

I picked up the football and held it in my hands but images of Lucy still danced in my head.
"Bro, are you obsessing over my sister......again. ......for the sixth time since we moved hear in seventh and eighth grade"
The whole team erupted into waves of laughter as Tommy looked at me and smiled. I felt my cheeks burn
"Shut up" I mumbled as I walked away and into the locker room
I stripped my uniform off and stepped into a shower stall letting the water roll of my back in little droplets
I picked up the body wash and it slipped out of my hands
"Hey hood looks like you dropped your soap" Marcus said trying to hide his chuckle
"Hey fishies" I shouted into the chaotic locker room
5 freshman ran to my shower stall "one of you pick that up" I pointed to my body wash
I've seen 1 of the 5 freshman before. All of them scattered except for 1 the one that I've seen before
I turned around to make it a little less awkward as he bent down and picked up the wash
He set the bottle on the ledge of the shower

As I was walking through the locker room with a towel I heard Westin Scott
"Dude I'm trying but she won't give me the time of day anymore"
I heard mumbling from someone else

A locker slammed and Westin walked around the corner he didn't say anything to me and I just stood there
