Finally I been able to update this! Sorry I kept you guys hanging there for a little bit but I promise I didn't forget you guys! enjoy!

A week later
Santana gingerly shut the door behind her not wanting to make to much noise. Hearing the click lock in she dropped her hands to her side. It was third night in a row she snuck out and has yet been caught. She would have been home sooner but she wanted herself to feel more sober incase anything happened.

She made her way into the kitchen area to grab quick drink of water only to stop midway there when she spotted a figure sitting on a stole leaning over the counter top. She held her breath hoping the person wouldn't notice her but it was to late.

"San..?" she recognized the voice belonged to her cousin.

"Yeah it's me..." Santana whispered coming out of hiding.

Emily looked her up to see Santana standing there. She could spot the red puffy eyes and the dried tear makes. She also could smell alcohol reeking off her cousins clothes.

"What are you doing up?" Santana asked making her way over to the cabinet to grab a glass. She filled the glass with water from tap.

Emily shrugged. "I could ask you the same thing."

Santana didn't bother to address her cousin back she stayed turned facing the window that was above the kitchen sink.

"You know...ever since I've been here you never asked me how I felt about everything." Santana started off saying. "I can see in your eyes you wanna know, but truth is you don't want to cross the line."

Emily stayed silent.

"If you asked how I felt I wouldn't know what to say because at times I feel different. One minute I'm calm and collected and the next I'm just pure angry. At points I can't even control my anger." Santana let out a bitter laugh. "I've been arrested."

"What?"

"Oh you didn't know? anyways thats a story for a different time. What i'm trying to say is at this point I just want to forget about everything. Drinking and getting high helps me be numb for awhile. But after it wears off everything comes crashing back to me like stones."

"I know.." Emily sighed. "Last year my ex-girlfriend was killed by A. Sure we had broken up before she died but that doesn't mean it hurt less. That whole summer I drank away and would always party. It wasn't till after I realized I couldn't keep doing this it wasn't what she would wanted me to do." She felt her eyes starting to water.

"I just wanna forget that night so bad." Santana mummer. "Every time I think about I get so mad that I actually want to kill him."

"Quinn's father was an alcoholic. He never hit her but that doesn't mean her gave her verbal beatdowns. After he left it took her awhile to trust anybody, us even."

"Truth is were all scared in different ways." Emily let out a breath. "What I'm trying to say is that its okay to be scared. It's okay not be fine."

Santana felt her eyes water everything her cousin was saying was so making it real. "I just want everything as before."

"Its sucks. But Santana?" Emily took a step closer to the Latina.

"Yeah?" the other girl looked up meeting her cousins gaze.

"Your. Not. Alone" she stated slowly and carefully. Meeting each other half way the two bodies collided together in to an tight embrace. An embrace that spoke so many feelings.

"Thank you" Santana mumbled.

"Always."

So I felt I wanted to have a quick San/Em moment just because they haven't really interacted yet. I promise to update this story as much as I can! any ways thanks to all of the viewers :)  See you next time!
