May's POV

"AUGH, YOU BASTARD!!!" says Jenna, her eyes tearing up. I duck down and kneel next to her, Kierran and this other classmate of ours- Raffin- following my lead. I try to calm Jen down, well, more like trying to hold her back. Hell, if I didn't, I bet Jenna would just get right back up, knife and all, and beat Declan up. Because Jenna's a badass. "Jen, Jen no stay still Jen you gotta calm down keep your cool ok-" "NO I AM GONNA KICK THAT SON OF A BITCH IN THE-" "No, Jen, listen ok this isn't too deep but once I take the knife out it's gonna start bleeding more so we're gonna need to put pressure on it," I look up, meeting Raffin's eyes. He nods in agreement and goes to fetch a few napkins. Meanwhile, the rest of the crowd's in total chaos. As Raffin comes back, I look back at Jenna. "Jen, you are going to take a deep breath and stay still till I say you can get up, got it?" "But he- fine." I give her a little smile and place both hands on the knife, gently pulling upwards. The piece of silverware slides out with ease, tinted deep red. I set it aside and help Raffin and Kierran cover the wound with the silky fabric napkins, applying pressure but not too much. I sigh. "Jenna, if I let you get up, do you promise not to chase after Declan?" "Fine" she frowns. I help her up and we make our way through the mob of terrified guests, who are running every which way, tailed by Raffin. Kierran must've run off somewhere in search of his brother. I don't blame him. We finally reach the front desk. "Hello, ma'am?" I say, "Could you please call an ambulance?" The woman seems shocked for a second before nodding and reaching for the phone. "What happened?" she asks with genuine concern in her voice. "There was an accident with a-" "McKenna fucking STABBED ME, that's what!" The woman, looking horrified, dialed a number and started talking. Meanwhile, Jenna asked me quietly, am I gonna have to get stitches? That would suck." "I don't know, can I see the cut again?" Jenna gingerly peels away the napkins, now soaked in red. I look down at her stomach in amazement. "That's definitely not gonna need stitches..." I say.

Cat's POV

As soon as Jenna drops down, the partygoers freak out and scatter. I see May and a couple other guys kneel on the floor next to her. Keb runs around the table till he's next to me. We don't say anything, just look at each other once before splitting up and scanning the crowd for Declan. I eventually spot him throwing a punch at Keb and sprint to where they are, using the element of surprise as an advantage. I kick Declan hard in the side, but he barely notices. He shoves Keb, throwing him a few feet back, and turns to me. He's the first to attack, aiming for my chest, but I try to avoid his punch and he hits me in the arm instead. It still hurts a lot. Since when is this dude so strong? I remember beating him at hand wrestling more than once for god's sake! I feint a punch at his stomach, which he blocks, and punch him in the face before he realizes my trick. He's not gonna fall for it a second time. I need a new strategy before he- "OW!" I yell as he knocks me down with a punch to the face. I open my eyes and sit up just in time to see Keb jump at him. They both fall with a dull thud and Keb pins Declan down on the floor. "Game over, buddy." he says, "You've got some explaining to do." "No he doesn't." says a random voice. "I do." says the man, now stepping into the light with a teenage boy at his side. Not just any teenage boy- Declan.
