Chapter 7 - Episode 5 - A Cadet

"How long has Ezra been in there now?" I asked.

"About 3 weeks," answer Sabine. Zeb, Sabine and I were waiting for Chopper to signal us to whether or not Ezra had passed the first test in the Imperial Training Academy, and Kanan and Hera were waiting in the ship for us to send in the coordinates to stop and Imperial shipment, that has a Kyber Cristal as cargo.

Just then Chopper came rolling in between to weapon racks and gave flashing light signals.

"The kid passed," Sabine told me and I contacted the Ghost.

"Spectre 7 to Ghost, Ezra passed the first test, he's inside Imperial HQ," I said into the comlink.

"Roger that Spectre 7 Ghost standing by," came Hera's voice.

"When are we gonna do something? All this waiting around is annoying me," Zeb complained.

"Calm down Zeb, we should be able to do something soon. I hope," I mumbled the last part under my breath so he wouldn't hear.

"I would probably make a better cadet than Ezra," Sabine said after a few minutes of silence.

"Oh yeah you would make quite the cadet, Sabine," I giggled.

"What does that mean?" She asked.

"It just means that you are a little too big to be a cadet. I on the other hand would make a better cadet," I told her.

"Yeah but you're a Twi'lek, and the imperial academy's only except humans," She told me.

"Good point," I said and we fell back into silence.

TIME SKIP

The door to signal curfew just went down and Ezra still hasn't come out.

"Spectre 5 to Ghost, the kid didn't get the decoder and he didn't come out," Sabine said into the comlink.

"Roger that Spectre 5, give him one more day," Hera told us.

"I hope he comes out soon, I'm starting to get worried. Only because he's my friend so don't get any ideas that I like him, Sabine," I said.

TIME SKIP

Chopper came rolling out of the academy and stopped in front of us.

"Got the decoder?' I asked and he opened a part of him and out popped the decoder, and Sabine grabbed it and started decoding.

"Where's the kid?" asked Zeb.

Chopper beeped a few times then pulled up a hologram of Ezra. He told us that he was staying in the academy to help out a friend of his, who would get scooped up by the Inquisitor if he didn't help.

"Oh and do me a favour and attack the imperial academy tomorrow, I could really use the distraction. Spectre 6 out," he said and we sent the coordinates to the Ghost.

TIME SKIP

We were just starting our attack on the academy. Chopper had already blown up a walker and Zeb had shot a few troopers. I jump kicked a guy in the head and Sabine did the same. Just then Ezra fell off a walker that was falling down.

"Help me get this hatch open," he said and Sabine and I helped him and the 2 boys while Zeb got a speeder and Chopper rolled over to us. Zeb got the speeder and all bar 1 of the boys got in. The other boy that stayed, started pretending to fire at us while any shots that got too close were deflected away by me, because I had my lightsaber ignited and was standing on the back off the speeder. We got out of range and I deactivated my lightsaber and jumped in the back next to the boy.

We got to the rendezvous point where the Ghost was waiting. I walked up the ramp and started meditating. After a while I stopped and got in bed, where I slowly drifted off to sleep.
