I decided not to let the presence of Sam stop me from dancing and screaming along with Nate.

Even though I was confused how he never mentioned him even if he didn't know that I already knew him.

The song eventually came to an end and I gave them a really loud clap.

I thought it was over until Nate brang the microphone back up to his mouth.

"I'd like to thank my amazing girlfriend Annalise who is in the crowd right now without her I wouldn't have ever gotten up here" Nate says making me blush as he points directly down towards me.

My eyes avert over to Sam quickly to see his jaw open as he finally realised I was there but I looked back at Nate giving him a loud clap along with everyone else as he begins to walk off stage.

I start pushing through the crowd over towards were Nate went backstage.

I squeal as I feel someone's arms around me pulling me into the air until I hear Nate's voice making me turn around quickly and place my lips on his.

"I love you" Nate mumbles against my lips.

"I love you too" I say breaking the kiss as I look to the side to see Sam awkwardly standing there swinging back and fourth on his feet.

"Oh right Sam this is my girlfriend Annalise, Annalise this is my friend Sam" Nate says introducing us even though we had already met.

"It's nice to meet you" I say playing along with it even though there was nothing to hide about Sam and I.

We may have kissed here and there but nothing serious ever happened between us.

"Same to you" Sam says with a sad smile as he crosses his arms in front of him.

Like guys always do we ended up going down to the basketball court as Nate and Sam played against each other.

I wasn't going to get into anything, especially in these heels, even though I did really like playing basketball.

"You are so not going to beat me this time" Sam yells as Nate runs down to the court dribbling the ball.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket putting my legs up onto the wall I was sitting on and leaning against the pole that was behind me.

"And how many times have you beat me, oh that's right once" Nate hollers making me chuckle, I always knew he was always an overly competitive person.

"Actually two" Sam yells back as I hear the ball hit the back of the basketball hoop as I really wasn't watching anything.

"Hey baby, why don't you come play" Nate says making me jump as I didn't realise he was right next to me looking at what I was doing on my phone from behind my shoulder.

"Have you recently not looked at the shoes I'm wearing?" I ask raising an eyebrow as I turn off my phone.

"That's why they made shoes so easy to get off" Nate says back making me chuckle as I roll my eyes.

"Fine" I groan as I take off my heels leaving them on the side along with my phone since I didn't really want to drop it.

"Sam looks like you've got yourself a new player, you two against me, let's see who wins" Nate yells triumphantly like he is the best in the world at basketball, which can be proven wrong.

"Oh it's on" I yell back as Sam throws me the ball.

Sam and I haven't really said anything towards each other as I seemed awkward all the time.

I dribble the ball as I start running down the court seeing Nate coming towards me but I quickly duck under his arms and continue towards the hoop as I shoot and get the ball straight into the hoop.

"And that's how it's done" I yell throwing my arms in the air as I see Sam smirk at Nate as I would have never believed we could actually beat him.

"I believe I already see us as the winner" I say as I walk past Nate.

"I'm so turned on right now" I hear Nate groan as I chuckle

really awkward place to end the chapter but oh well

figured out there I'll only be a couple more chapters left of this book as I have figured out the ending and everything and I'm pretty sure there won't be a sequel.

Just had to have them playing basketball somewhere in the book
