"Well your looking all dressed up" I say as I exit the bathroom seeing Nate in the bedroom as he is looking at himself in the mirror trying to tie his bow tie that was around his neck.

"Well you are looking beautiful" he compliments making me blush as I pull out the dress I was wearing showing it off.

"It's not too much?" I question looking down, I have to admit I did get a little too excited when Nate said to dress up in my best outfit.

"Never" he says making me smile as he turns back towards the mirror as he again begins to struggle tying the bow.

"Let me help" I say walking over towards him as he turns to face me as I start to tie the bow as I feel Nate's eyes on me.

"There" I say flattening it out as I take a step back looking to see if I had even done it right.

I've seen that it's really cute in movies when the girl ties the guys bow, I didn't really have much experience in tying it though so I wouldn't be surprised if it just looked like a messy knot.

"So are you going to give me a hint to where we are going?" I question as I sit on the the edge of our bed putting my heels on.

"Your just going to have to wait and see"

Nate's car finally came to stop after around half an hour of belting out lyrics to our favourite songs and playing a very aggressive version of spotto which probably wasn't the best idea since Nate was driving.

I looked out the window to see that we were at a boat dock making me furrow my eyebrows as I look out at all the boats that at parked everywhere.

"Did I forget to mention my dad also owns a boat" Nate says making me laugh as I hop out of the car along with Nate.

"So I got all dressed up just to go sit in a boat?" I question laughing not wanting Nate to think I was being serious.

"Well I'm wearing a suit, this isn't going to happen often" he says intertwining our fingers as he starts pulling me towards all the boats.

They were all lit up with beautiful lights that illuminated off the water making the view breath taking.

"So what will we be doing on your boat?" I question as we start walking down towards all the boats as Nate then stops and turns towards one of the biggest boats that was parked at the dock.

"Eating, sleeping, skinny dipping" Nate says with a wink as he hops on the boat holding his hand out to me as I grab it and slowly get onto the boat not wanting to trip in my heels.

And I really didn't want to fall in the water.

"You wish" I say playfully punching him in the chest as I walk past and further in the boat that looked absolutely amazing.

I look towards the table that was in of us seeing that there was food all over the table with candles in the middle and a plate on either side.

"As you can tell I will not be taking the boat anywhere whilst I have candles going" Nate says as he walks past me pulling out a chair from underneath the table for me as I gratefully take a seat as Nate takes a seat on the other side "let's dig in"

"You didn't make this food did you?" I question grabbing some chicken from the plate.

"If I cooked this I would have burnt the salad" Nate says making me snort.

We sat in silence for a while as we both dug into our food that was absolutely delicious.

"I also got this" Nate says after we finish eating quickly getting up from his chair and grabbing a bottle of wine from the small fridge that was at the side.

"Here" Nate says once he has poured me a glass as I take it from his hands taking a sip before placing it on the table as Nate takes a seat opposite me.

I furrow my eyebrows as I now just realise that he was looking so nervous.

Why I have no idea, it's not like we haven't gone on a date before.

I swear if I looked close enough I could see him sweating.

"So uh I know we haven't really been dating for that long at all, but I know I found the right girl, which I wouldn't be happier to spend the rest of my life with you" Nate says looking down at the ground as I grew even more confused by the second.

But I gasped when I saw Nate stand up from his seat taking a step to the side to only go down on one knee bringing out a box making me cover my mouth as I realise what he was doing.

"Annalise, will you marry me?"
