((SURPRISE! i'M NOT DEAD! In fact, I am healthy (as is James) and things are going great. In fact, I'll be updating frequently in a few weeks/months because I'm moving into a trailer with James and I'll have all the time in the world! I hope you enjoy this Tony and Reader Christmas-y special! I might make a lemon for it to kill two birds with one stone!))

It's that time of the year again. Awful cold weather, and annoying music with an unnecessary amount of gleeful cheer. Ah yes, Christmas season is here, and like always, you forgot to brace yourself. Which means, you forgot to buy presents before prices went up, and you really 'forgot' to decorate your apartment. It's not like you couldn't buy a tree shaped car freshener and pin it to your wall. In all honesty, the winter season and holidays were never your favorite. You could say, you were the Grinch out of your family and friends. Even your time freak friend Tony liked Christmas more than you. Which surprised you to say the least, since he thinks most other holidays are a waste of time.

knock knock.

You looked at your apartment door from the couch. Eyes narrowed, you silently prayed that it wasn't Christmas carolers, or worse.... your parents.

knock knock.

The knocking persisted, only growing in volume as if the person was slightly annoyed by your antics. With an unhappy huff, you stood from the couch, making your way to the door. Swinging it open, you gave an aggravated look to your friend Tony.

"What? Are you here to scold me for not decorating again?"

Tony rolled his eyes. Crossing his arms before looking back down at you. "Nope, but I can if you would like me to."

"Bite me." You growled before moving out of the way to let him in. "Hurry up before someone sees my lack of Christmas and gets offended."

"Why would someone get offended?" He asked as he sat on your couch.

"It's 2015, name something that doesn't offend anyone."

He looked at you for a moment, before nodding in agreement. "Yes, I suppose that's true."

You got back into your couch corner and covered up with your mermaid tail blanket. "It's too fucking cold."

Tony looked at you, then around your apartment. He did this every time he came over, just observing things. "Why do you always do that?"

"Do what?"

"Look around my apartment like you're mentally moving yourself in or something."

He smiled at you, a heart melting smile. "Because dear, I just might be doing just that."

Your face turned a rose red color. He could always make you feel weird, and, for some reason you could never figure out why. Maybe it's just a Tony thing.

"Shut up Tony, don't be weird."

You crossed your arms, trying to play off your discomfort. Taking notice at how he laughed at you. "Why don't you come out with me tonight?"

"What? Like a... date?" You asked him softly.

"Yes, a date. What do you say dear?"

How could you possibly say no to the one that makes you feel weird? With a defeated sigh, you nodded. "Actually, I'd love to."

He smiled again.

"But." You continued.

He straight faced. "But?"

"You know I hate this weather being so easily sick.."

"That's true..." He rubbed his neck. "Just stay here, I'll be back in an hour, dress nice but dress warm."
