Emily's POV

"Adam?" She said, suprising us all. How does she know him? The crowd stood silent, observing the scene running in front of us.

"Jordana?" Adam's voice projected through us. They exchanged glances, just staring at each other, but no one dared to speak. Finding my voice that was now buried in the pit of my stomach, I decided to break the moment.

"You guys know each other?" Everyone's eyes snapped to mine, but my orbes focuse between the two. A moment of hestitation flew through the room before Jordan decided to speak up.

"I met Adam at the bar a couple days ago" she said, facing the floor.

"Oh" Was my only response. There was nothing else to say. Thankfully, Jordan interrupted.

"Anyway, I better get going, sorry to intrude." I could feel the awkwardness steam off her.

"I'll walk you out" Adam blurted, following her out of the room. As soon as their presence dissapeared, the noise of Logan's anger was heard.

"I'm going to kill him. I told him not to mess this up" He gritted, pacing the living room, his hand on his forehead, his mind probably thinking of a plan.

"Hey, calm down, it's no big deal" I posed. It was true that Adam was a criminal, but I knew for a fact that if he were to end up with Jordan, he would keep her happy. The same could be said with all the other boys, except Logan. My mind was past accepting Logan back, but the thought of someone else with him, made me sick.

"Calm down? You of all people should know how sick this is Emily!" he yelled, hitting another nerve.

"It's not like they are dating, they just know each other, now stop over reacting" I backfired. He carried a suprise expression on his face, but I was beyond caring anymore. The tables had turned, and there was no way I was letting them change back. Soon, Adam re-appeared through the door, as casual as ever.

"Well?" we all asked him once he didn't answer.

"Well, someone's got a date tomorrow night" he smirked, walking back to his position on the couch. No one uttered a word, staring at him in pure astonishment. But aggravation was radiating off of Logan, he was fuming. A few minutes of silence later, Adam noticed everyone's discomfort, and his smirk faltered into a frown "What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? What's wrong is that you constantly keep messing up? How many times did I-" Logan bursted, he started advancing in Adam's direction with a rageful sense, but my new attitude caused me to step up and press my hand on his chest. Immediately, he relaxed and stopped moving.

"Stop. It's fine Adam" he didn't press further, and backed away silently. The others still remained silence, now looking up to me. "As I was saying before, I can help you bring down Deklan, in exchange for help bringing my brother back to safety." This time, Logan's voice didn't cut me off, or object.

"How exactly do you intend on doing that?" Austin then spoke. I smirked, feeling pride in the plan that I had come up with, no matter how stupid or dangerous it sounded.

"As I said, Deklan is my ex-boyfriend, and I was his tech girl. Ever since we broke up, he's been trying to get me back. And that's exactly what I'm going to give him. I will go back to him, and start working for him again, I will gather all the information on the place my brother is kept in, and at the same time I will make a copy of all the criminal assaults that they have commited. Once I have everything, I will expose them. In other words, I'm going to work from the inside." Their mouths were wide open, and no one uttered a word.

"What makes you think we couldn't have done that?" came Austin's voice. My smirk grew wider, I had done my homework.

"The fact that you've sworn on the code of Omertà" Not a word was uttered in the room, but Logan's back was now facing my wall as he walked towards the guys, his eyes fixed on me.

"How do you-"

"I've done my research" He eyes wondered my living room again, as though in deep thought when the rest of his crew got up.

"I say you're in" Adam commented, making me chuckle. There was no way in hell anyone would ever suspect Adam to be a criminal.

"Me too" Jack followed. I smiled in gratitude, looking at Austin pleadingly. He sighed, finally nodding his head.

"Welcome aboard" He said, sticking out his hand to shake. I advanced, grasping his hand in mine and giving it a firm shake. My mind was so deep in thought that we missed the exit of Logan from my living room, until the rough sound of my front door slamming shut was heard.

"He certainly doesn't look very happy" Larissa commented. I nodded, not comfortable to say anything.

"Don't worry, he'll come around" Austin replied, taking the lead in following him out. "Come by the lair tomorrow and we can go through the plan again" He said by the door.

"Where is it?" I asked. I had not realized until now that even though I had stayed in that hell whole for an entire week, I had no idea where it was located.

"Come on Emily, I'm sure you can find it" He shot me one last smirk before dissappearing out the door. Hell yeah I can. I thought to myself as I walked back into the living room.

"Ok Ems, I know I'm working on my maturity and all, but damn! Jack is hot!" My sister exclaimed. I chuckled, plopping myself down on the couch next to her.

"Yeah, he is also a criminal" I stated.

"So are we, I mean at least now that we have joined them."

"We are only doing this to bring our brother back. After that, we're out sis."

"That we are. But is that really going to stop you from loving him?" She tried mumbling under her breath. Key word being tried.

"What do you mean?" I snapped. I had an idea of what she was referring to, I just didn't want to get back into it.

"Nothing. I better get going anyways, I have work to do" She said, picking her things off the table. I agreed, not wanting to bring the topic back and allowed her to leave after bidding her goodbye.

The thoughts of earlier invaded my mind as I soon remembered I had to call Jordan. The thought of my best friend and my boss's best friend suprised me, and I knew that Adam was danger, but somehow, I wasn't worried about leaving her in Adam's hands. Somehow the situation felt secure. I dialed her number and silently waited for her to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jordan" I replied hesitantly, realizing I had not much to say to her. "So you and Adam ha?" I blurted. She chuckled on the other side and I could picture her blushing.

"Yeah, he's a nice guy. But what about you? How do you know Adam?" she questioned. I had no excuse, and no idea what to tell her. I paused for a moment thinking of whatever I could, but nothing came to mind.

"Oh, well... you see... Adam is Logan's friend, so he came along" I commented, not really sure how it made sense.

"Oh, I see, so the rumors are true. You are dating the Logan Miller" She suggested. I wanted to back out, but now that I would be spending a lot more time with him and the crew, the thought seemed like the perfect excuse.

"I guess so..." I mumbled, she chuckled and started talking about Adam and the day she met him at the bar.

Soon, I zoned out, though the thoughts of finding my brother had pushed through my mind. I was excited, yet scared. What is Deklan finds out? What if he tries to kill me? The amound of what if's pounded my head, but at the end, only one question remained.

What was going to happen between me and Logan now?
