Waste of time

Caitlin's pov:

When I woke up Niall had gone, I got up and went into the kitchen where there was a note next to a glass of orange juice.It read:

'Hey princess I have gone to work i'll be back about six and I will get your muffin.

Love you~ Nialler xxx'

I smiled when I read it then got some food.(mmm...food)I didn't know what to do today so I decided on doing a bit of cleaning. Once I got changed I went to the kitchen and cleaned up then into the living room,the bathroom,my room then finally Nialls room.

Nialls room was mainly tidy but there was a few things on the floor.When I finished tidying it was only 1pm,I had 5hours till Niall came back. I realised that it would be nice to have some flowers on the kitchen table so I went to the flower shop.

I got some Lily's and put them in a vase, placing them in the centre of the table. I went into the living room and watched a few movies then the next thing I know I was a sprawled out across the sofa fast asleep.

I must have been there for ages because I heard the door open and Niall scream "Im home!!!"I didn't move. "I have your muffin"he put his keys down and I rushed towards him grabbing the muffin "Niall did you take a bit out if this?" I said as I examined the muffin "Im sorry I couldn't help it"he scratched the back of his head "well at least you didn't eat all of it"I ruffled his hair.

I walked back into the living room and sat down. Niall sat beside me "you have a nice day?" He looked at me stuffing my face "yeah I didn't do much though"I wiped the crumbs off me. "You slept most the day didn't you"he smirked "pffft no" I looked around the room avoiding eye contact.

"That was a yummy muffin"I nodded and wiped away crumbs "You wanna go for a walk?" Niall asked me. "Yeah"I got up and fixed my hair then got my white converses.

We went to the park which wasn't very busy but we saw Harry. "Hey Harry"Niall waved and grabbed my hand "hey Niall what you doing here?"Harry looked at me and smiled then back at Niall.

"I decided to take my Princess for a walk"Niall looked at me then kissed my forehead. "Here you go"Harry handed Niall £20 then left.

When we got back to the flat I decided to ask Niall what that was all about. "Niall why did Harry give you £20?"I fiddled with the Necklace "oh me and Harry bet on who you would choose to be your boyfriend"He was fiddling with his money "so you bet on our relationship?" I put my hands on my hips getting annoyed. Then he snapped realising what he said "no I didn't mean-"I cut him off "Niall you did mean it cause you wouldn't lie to me or would you" I was really mad "Princess-"he pleaded "don't princess me!"I stormed into the Kitchen sitting at the table staring at the flowers and fiddling with the Necklace .

I didn't wanna see Niall again, after he betted on our relationship. I went up stairs and sat in the edge of the bed, tears starting to run down my face. I heard Niall knock on the door,he walked in, I quickly wiped my tears and carried on looking down.

"Caitlin I'm sorry I didn't want you to be with Harry" he rubbed his arm "what if I wanted to be with Harry, did you think about me?"I snuffled "it wasn't my Idea to bet on who you chose"He was getting angry "well you agreed to it!"I stood up a bit to quick and nearly toppled over.

We stood there scowling at each other. His grumpy face was so cute *mentally slaps self* no Im mad at him! "I'm having a break from this relationship stuff it's a waste of my time!"he stormed out the room. I felt my body collapse and I burst into tears.

I decided I would give Tilly a call and I tell her what happened.

Niall's pov:

It was true all this relationship stuff was a waste of my time,I'm like famous and I don't really have time for her.

I heard talking from upstairs she was probably on the phone. I texted Liam cause I was bored then I heard Caitlin coming down stairs ,still on the phone. I heard her say good bye then she walked in picking up some head phones.

I stared at her not realising that I was "what you looking at?" She snapped at me she had red marks round her eyes and tear stains down her face. I looked down back at my phone. I texted Liam again. Liam's messages:

'She just walk in' Niall

'Did she say anything?'Liam

'Well I was staring at her so what do you think' Niall

'Okay okay anything else?'Liam

'Well she looked like she had been crying a lot'Niall

'Well you did practically crush her heart'Liam

'Liam!' Niall

'Well I'm sorry but you did' Liam

I stopped texting Liam and went into the kitchen where I saw some white Lily's on the table Caitlin must have got them while I was at work.

I went and got a sandwich then sat back on the sofa opposite Caitlin who was texting very fast whilst listening to music. I could hear her music since her head phones where rubbish, she was listening to one direction songs. I had forgotten she liked our music.

I texted her instead of talking to her knowing she wouldn't hear me. She looked a bit annoyed probably cause she was in the middle of a text.

'Hi x'

What do you want?'

'I'm hungry x'

'You just ate a sandwich'

'Oh so you noticed x'

She rolled her eyes and walked into the kitchen.

"What do you want?" She shouted from the kitchen "pasta" I shouted back. Few minuets later she came in with pasta and handed it to me as she walked by out of the room.

She was still mad at me.
