Caitlin's POV:
Niall was fidgeting. "Niall stop." I put my had on his lap and he just stared at it. "You can't say you love me then not be my girlfriend." he shook his head. "I'm just, not ready to be in a relationship." I removed my hand, twisting my fingers together.
"Now your fidgeting." Niall stated. "shut up." I tapped my lap lightly. "Your nervous." he laughed. "I'm not fucking nervous." I snapped at him. Niall's eyes saddened and looked away. "your new hair cut's shit as well." I muttered. "You can go in." The nurse held open the door so I could enter. He whispered my name.
"You can't stay in Ireland."
"What? why dad?"
"It's not safe."
"Okay dad."
"Now, I always wanted to see you on your wedding day, but it looks like I won't make it."
"You will, there's hope." I held his hand. "Look after Niall, He may be a big lad now but he needs you, and I know you need him." His grey eyes locked into mine. A light smile crept on his face. "What?" I began to smile. "You look just like your mother." Tears formed in his eyes. It had been 3 years now since she died from cancer and we both clearly still missed her.
"We always knew you would grow up to be beautiful." his smile grew. "I know you always kept telling me." I rolled my eyes. "Caitlin, I love you." he faded, his eyes slowly closing, exhaling for the last time.
His breathless body laying still and pale. "No, dad, I love you, no." I sobbed by the bed side. Niall slowly walked through the door way. I looked up at him, his face crumbling as he looked into my eyes. My eyes drew back to my dads corpse. More tears falling down my cheeks.
"He's in a better place now Caitlin." Niall crouched by me. "I didn't even get to say good bye." I fell into Niall, not being able to support myself. I could tell Niall was now crying. We were both very sensitive. We sat on the floor crying for about half an hour. Tears still ran down my face as we left the hospital.
"Now what am I going to do." I looked at Niall. "Your going to be strong, I will take care of you, that's what he wanted me to do."Niall hugged me tightly. "He's not even going to be here for my wedding,I always dreamed of him walking me down the aisle to my true love." I sighed.
Niall's POV:
I didn't know she thought about that kinda stuff. "I'll walk you down the aisle, when you get married." I blurted out. "Niall, you can't, what if your the one at the alter." she lightly smiled. I actually didn't think of that, but the thought of it made me tingle inside.
"Come on let's get home." I grabbed her hand, smiling widely at her. When we got in the house she flopped down on the sofa. I walked past her going into the kitchen. "Niall?" I heard her muffle through a pillow. "Yeah?" I popped my head round the door. "Ah shit I forgot." she laughed rolling off the sofa.
"What are you like eh?" I chuckled then got my self a glass of water. She lay on the floor, face flat on the mat, arms and legs spread out. I wonder what she's thinking. I gently nudged her, a snore escaped her mouth. I quietly laugh, shaking my head.
Caitlin's POV:
"Psst." My head turned, seeing no one I carried on packing. "Hey, Caitlin." the voice whispered again. My eyes scanned the room, I was the only me in here. I returned to my suitcase where a note had been laid on my clothes.
'Are we friends? Nialler x'
"Niall?" I peered round every door yet he was nowhere to be seen, when I turned round he was standing there, a smirk on his face. I blinked and he was right up against me. "Are we friends or more?" he whispered. "Friends Niall." my eyes darted round. He crashed his lips against mine, the kiss got very heated and when he finished he just stared at me.
