"So, you're coming with?" I ask Shiverblade, who is already nodding her head. "Of course! You guys are my friends after all, I'd like to help. And don't worry about my mission, that can wait! Fallenflame is much more important! So, where should we head to first?" She tilts her head in a cute way. 'Cute! Really, Pyro? And friends? Even after what I did to her... She still says that...' I shake my head.
"I don't know... Hey SandWing! Do you have an idea to where we should start looking? And we better move quickly, I don't know how long Fallenflame will last..." I look at Fallenflame, worry etched across my face. I faced Grazion, who was frowning. "I'd think that the artifact is in the SkyWing Kingdom, so you'd better start looking there. But... You'd better take care of Shiver," he said, turning to me.
"I don't want you turning her in to that devil of a queen, Scarlet." He glared at me, and I shook my head. "I cannot go back to Scarlet after I left her, from being a blacksmith. Most dragons there hate me, because I have firescales anyway. So if anyone so much as tried to lay a claw of Shiver, I'd burn them up like nothing." I said, flicking my tail, accidentally burning a small shrub that was there. Well, not really accidentally. But I'm sure you'd understand.
"Hmmm, where would the Eternal Flame be? Well, how about we sneak into Queen Scarlet's treasure room, where she keeps all her precious jewelry? Pyro, I'm sure you'd know where it is, since you'd be the one melting all that stuff into jewelry anyways, being the blacksmith and all." Shiver looked at me, with a pleading look. I rolled my eyes, and smirked. "Yeah, I know where it is. But the problem is getting there without being noticed. It's constantly being guarded. And only Queen Scarlet is allowed in there, excluding me, now that she probably knows I've left her. She should've known it would be dangerous to keep me alive..." I mumbled the last part.
I hoped Shiver didn't hear the last part, but she heard, and I can tell by the look on her face. She perked up, and ruffled her wings, freezing the ground from close proximity. I watched, as these small things she did made my stomach flutter, and I felt like I could stare at her all day. 'Stop! She's an IceWing, nothing special!' I thought, turned my head quickly. 'Can I really like this IceWing? I haven't even known her for very long...'
"Well, we need to get going, and devise a plan to sneaking into the SkyWing Kingdom again, and get into her room full of treasure." Shiverblade spread her wings, shooting into the sky. "Well, it'll take all night to reach the SkyWing territory, so let's fly a little while, and find a good place to rest." I said, and Shiver nodded. 'Shiver... I like that nickname. I hope I don't end up calling her that though... That would be embarrasing.'
We flew a little ways, now back on SkyWing land, but still a ways a way from the kingdom. Fallenflame pointed out a good cave that we could take shelter in for the night, and we settled in, making sure Shiver and I don't touch each other. "Night, Shiver..." I thought. Or I thought, but actually said. "Good Night Pyro." She said back, with a surprised tone. And I drifted into sleep...
