III: Bloody Part 2

Heya. Kinda failed when I said it would be posted on sunday like a million months ago....And...I kinda didnt keep my promise. WHAAA YOU MUST HATE ME! And for taking years to post this chapter... Oh well here it is part 2. ENJOY!!!

Blue had noticed Minato and Kushina had grown close... Too close for her liking, but let them get on with their lives. The day that Kushina annouced that she was pregnant , Blue had fainted. She couldnt believe it. Kushina moved in with Minato inviting Blue with her. Minato had tried his hardest to befriend Blue, but she wasnt having any of it. However the couple trusted Blue a lot, and knew she would protect them both on the day Kushina had to give birth.

Everything was a secret. The day the boy would be born, who would deliver the baby, the location and that the seal keeping Kurama inside Kushina would be weakened greatly.

The night had arrived, and Kushina had been taken just outside the village to a house hidden in a cave with two entrances. Blue's job was to guard the cave entrance while the prenant woman gave birth.

Blue however didn't think it was necessary since everything had been kept secret. Who would want to attack them anyway? And why would they want to? Whatever the reason Blue still did her job. Blue lied down right infront of the darkness of the cave wanting to close her eyes and drift off into an endless slumber. Without warning the process had began. Screams echoed through the cave to Blue's sensitive ears.

Just then, Blue smelt something. She sniffed the air and growled. She got up scanning the area with keen eyes. Her eyes stopped dead and focused on something. Hackles raised, ears back and lip curled bearing dagger sharp fangs. She began to sence an evil chakra, and a big amount of it. In the bush about ten metres away a cloaked figure stood watching her, with an evil red glint in the eye hole of his mask. Noticing he had been spotted, he stepped out into the sinister light of the moon. Blue glared at him sencing he was a threat to Kushina and Minato. Her claws dug into the ground ready for battle.

"A wolf? Never thought I would see one, especially bonding with humans. You are meant to be extinct my little friend." His deep voice said, taunting her, provoking her to attack. But Blue wasn't the type to attack by anger. She countinued to stare him down and growl fiercely, though she didn't seem phased at all. Readying herself for whatever attack would come, Blue would wait patiently for him to attack first. "Looks like I must play the dangerous game with the wolf then." He sighed. At least he didnt underestimate her like a lot did. A tense air hung between them both. Without warning the cloaked man flung out a chain from both of his black sleeves and darted towards Blue. She tensed her paws and threw herself at him with a huge amount of force. The masked man dodged just in time only to be thrust into the ground from behind. "A shadow clone?! But how-" Blue cut him off by slamming her giant paw down onto his chest and reached her fangs towards his neck. In the nick of time he formed a quick hand seal and performed a substitution jutsu. Blue was quickly getting frustrated and her eyes turned black. The masked mans eyes widened as he watched as Blues puplis turned into blue flames. Just as he thought her growl couldnt get any worse, it got fiercer by the minute. Blue's lips curled up even further and her fangs appeared to grow. "Shit." The cloaked man cursed under his breath. Quicker than a lightning strike Blue disappeared and reappeared behind his back. A ball of red light formed in Blue's open jaw and shot out exploding into his back, sending his flying into a tree. However, Blue heard him chuckle surprising her. "Games are over big bad wolf." Blue stood her ground.

"Transportation technique!" He shouted. Without warning he was in front of Blue with his red eye swirling. Blue was being sucked into an endless abyss that she couldnt pull away from. She yelped as she reappeared on the edge of a cliff. Shock jolted through her body and her stomach churned from the feeling of falling from such a high height. Blue quickly got herself together and transformed her body into a weightless white eagle. Just another jutsu that only wolves could do. Blue mentally cursed to herself as she tried to find the location of Minato and Kushina. She had failed them completly if that man had gotten to them. From souring high in the dark night sky, Blue swiftly darted straight down piercing the wind as she went. She quickly reached the entrance of the cave she was meant to be guarding, the bad news was though the masked man was nowhere to be seen. Souring lower and just scraping the ground, Blue shifted back into her original form, and raced towards Minato's and Kushina's aid.

"Naruto!" A scream came, deafening Blue in the process. Worry shook through Blue and she pushed her legs harder onwards. Blue suddenly skidded stopping dead in her tracks as she senced the same chakra as the man she had recently fought, however this time a shadow clone. Once again she let out a growl and beared her fangs.

"You got back quickly. Just what I'd expect from a wolf. But you've still lost quite a bit of talent from all those years ago." That hit Blue hard. Yes she had lost a lot of her experiance from then, but there hadn't been any wothy oppontents till now.

Blue leapt at her target her eyes never moving from it. As she had just thought she had caught his troat with her fangs, she went straight through him. She stumbled and fell rolling on the caves rocky floor. She glared at the man through hating eyes, as she got back up. Using her Earth nature chakra, Blue summoned from walls of the cave strong thorny roots and vines that burst through both ceiling and walls. The cave shook rapidly as rocks and boulders came tumbling down on the two. The giant roots covered Blue protecting her. While the man was distracted, Blue made a run for it trying to find the two humans that she was meant to guard. However when she arrived at the house, no one was to be seen execpt for two lifless bodies lying in a pool of blood on the ground. Again worry took over Blue as she began desparatly trying to smell them out. All that Blue could smell though was the vile smell of blood filling her nose. Blue closed her eyes and tried to sence their chakra...She finally senced Kushina, but it was faint and bearly able to feel. Rushing towards it Blue raced to her rescue. She reached closer and closer, suddenly a huge amount of chakra block Kushina's and a red beacon shot to the sky. The sudden thick atmosphere hit Blue causing her to stop and stumble over. A whine escaped her mouth as realization washed over her. It was the Nine-tails chakra. Blood red, angry and flaming with hatred. Something was wrong though. It was uncontrolled. Kurama's chakra was uneven like it was trying to fight something back. She struggled to get up but she managed and raced to the source of it all, only to find the giant itself looming over 5 ritual rocks, pointing heavenward. Blue's eyes widened at the sight in front of her. Kurama's mind was trapped in the sharingan, and below him was Kushina. Beaten up and bloody.

"Looks like you survived wolf." That voice was really starting to annoy Blue. She turned and launched herself at the masked man once more, until a huge paw came straight at her. The strike knocked all of the air out of Blue's lungs and not being able to kelp consciousness any longer, darkness swept over her.

NOTE: As I said at the start here it is after a long wait sorry bout that. The next chapter will be out shortly since I've already written most of it up in my note book and all I have to do it type it up :) Hope you liked it!
