Chapter 6

I was really starting to feel the alcahol now and I'm pretty sure Niall was too. I thought he was joking when he said about getting drunk, but you forget how many you've had and then it all goes to your head. Niall started dancing to 'I Wanna Go Surfing' by The Drums, it was probably one of the funniest things I've witnessed I decided to join in with him. Then 'Hold Me' by Michael Buble came on and he grabbed me by my waist and held my right hand so that we could ballroom dance. he started to sing the lyrics in his drunken voice but it was still beautiful. This song always made me cry drunk or sober when the song finished Niall just looked at me, in a way he's never looked at me before and then he kissed me. It was so nice it was so perfect apart from he was my best friend and nothing more and he had just broke up with his girlfriend. It was all so perfect and all so wrong.

I don't really remember much of the rest of the night, I stayed over in his guest bed and just lay there wondering if he remembered anything from lastnight. my phone buzzed it was a text from Liam.

From: Liam

- Hey Charlotte I'm having a party tonight at my place at 8 if you want to come? also Niall was ment to be calling me lastnight if you're still with him can you get him to call me back? thank you xx

To: Liam

-I'd love to! mind if I bring a pluss one? and yeah sure I will :) xx

From: Liam

-yeah thats fine ;)

"NIALL!" I shouted because I couldn't be bothered to move 

"WHAT?"

"LIAM SAID TO CALL HIM"

about half an hour later I decied to get changed and went down stairs. 

"Hey Niall what food have you got?" I asked looking in his fridge 

"I'll make pancakes?" and he ran over to the kitchen and started before I even said yeah.

I sat at the breakfast bar watching him cook, nothing was said for a while so I got my phone out and texted Nick.

To: Nick

- Morning! I was wondering if you're not busy, my friend is having a party tonight and if you want to be my date? x

From: Nick

-I'd love to. What time? I'll pick you up? x

To: Nick

-Great! :D and 8 and please x

From: Nick

-I'll look forward to seeing you x

"Done" Niall said as he presented a pile of hot pancakes.

"Mmmm I love your pancakes I can never make them right"  I mumbled because I had a mouth full of pancake. But Niall did make the best pancakes. He grabed a plate and sat next to me eating his pancakes like he had a time limit before they vanised or something. I felt like I needed to say something about lastnight but I didn't want to because he might not remember and then it'd get awkward. 

"So erm do you remember anything about lastnight?" yeah that was good charlotte well done that sounded casual.

"Kind of erm I remeber kissing you but I'm not sure if anything else happened"

"No I don't think so, but it can't happen again Niall. You've just broke up with Katie you need time to get over her and it deifinatly can't happen tonight at Liam's because I'm bringing a date"

"I know I'm sorry I was drunk it's not like I meant to do it, it won't happen tonight."

"Okay" I kissed him on the cheek and went to go up stairs and get changed.

"Charlie wait!" Niall waited for me to stop and turn round before he carried on his sentance.

"Who's your date?"

"That guy from the gig the other night"

"what! why him! of all people in this whole world you choose to bring him! c'mon char get some standards" Niall sounded pissed off. I don't really know why it's not like he was dating the guy.

"Calm down not that guy the other one, the nice one. don't get so defencive" I walked up staires got changed and Niall dropped me off at home.
