The man walked toward me with caution and set a distance between us, I concealed my face with my black hood and gazed at him, wanting to know more about him I lended my hands toward him with a slight smile forming on my lips "my name is nova kenway and judging by your outfit id assume you're one of the den leaders here am I correct?" Jacob looked at my hand and scoffed abit. I slowly brought my hands down realizing he didn't wanna shake hands with me. "Shaking hands is a way of greeting and formal introductions you know" my voice gave off a bit of growl as I got closer to him. "What are you doing here? What do you want? Where are you from?" "I'll tell you everything once we get to the closest den, my feet are aching and quite frankly I'm sore in all parts of my body" I could see a slight grin make its way to Jacobs lips as I then giggled abit realizing why he smiled "that's not what I meant"
Me and Jacob made our way to his den headquarters
While walking I managed to know more about the city's streets and where they would possibly lead to, as we got deeper into the city the houses and scenery including the people changed, the houses looked much more grand and not to mention beautiful, there were many rich men and women walking about the streets, the air smelled much more cleaner then the outer area's of France, the smell was of nothing I had smelled before, it gave me relaxation, the smell was familiar but yet at the same time I couldn't quite put my tongue on it, carriages rudely almost ran people over making its way to where ever they needed to be.
"Jacob are we almost there?" I pleaded to Jacob hoping that maybe it was close
"Yes we are...but if your going to complain like a brat then go find your own way to the den and figure it out yourself" Jacob said annoyingly
"I already hate you Jacob..." I said under my breath
Jacob simply smiled and that's when I realized the way he was acting was the only way he knew on how to talk to others, I smiled quite big at realizing that all the things he said were not personal
JACOBS VIEW ~
While walking besides nova kenway I found myself already fancying her. There was something about her that I couldn't stop loving, I knew already that I had much feelings for her, which was unlike me and rather abit scary at once. Her smile and face alone including responses to my words was enough to make me smile, hearing her giggle made me realize just how precious she is, she ha a certain glow, she seemed trustworthy since the first glance which I will admit I loved.
I turned the corner into a empty alleyway with nova following behind me, I stopped her in her tracks and simply pushed on the wall. The wall had moved to the side disappearing and showing a hallway leading down with torches lighting up the way which had another door at the bottom of the stairs, as I started going down I looked over my shoulder "be careful going down.."NOVA'S VIEWPOINT
Hearing him say for me to be careful sent me shock, I never expected him to say something that kind instead I expected him to say something smart that would agitate me "I will, thank you"
As we made our way down to the wooden door at the bottom of the stairs the wall closed behind us with a loud noise echoing through the hallways, making it warm between me and Jacob, excitement washed over my body as Jacob knocked on the door. The door slowly opened and I followed closely behind eager to get past him to see the den, I quickly pushed my way past him and looked around seeing many hallways being lit by torches and a training area in the middle, the wall way to the left and right led rooms for other assassins to sleep in if they wish, the hallway leading past the training area consisted of the breakfast and lunch room, the walls were red making it seem somewhat cozy, the torches made the place extremely warm, the halls and training area including the breakfast and lunch area were quite, so quite not even a mouse or rat was heard. I wasn't used to the quietness which set me in an uneasy mood.
"I have questions for you nova and I need you to answer them"
