Emily's P.O.V.

I said goodbye to Toby and Lyra, before I sneaked out the window. As I softly landed on my feet, I looked around. It was already night. I mean, I know it's winter and all that stuffs, and that night falls earlier, but except street lights, it was pitch black. 'In name of Underworld, what time is it?' I thought. Oh, well, since I'm not in mood to go home, I guess I'll just simply walk around. Due to my insomnia, I don't really have to sleep anyway. Few hours of sleep on week is enough, and I'm not really tired.(Okay, I don't know from personal experience, but I do have friend who have insomnia and he can literally take five hours of sleep at week[even though that's rare{he almost never sleep unless you force him to take a nap}]and function better then me at day. No kidding. I was at sleepover at his place for week or so, and he didn't sleep all nights, he was too busy while playing Mortal Combat. And what's ironic, he functioned better then me who had seven hours of sleep everyday!) Plus, I'm not really in mood to go back home. 'Huh, maybe a walk will work just fine. I have knife in pocket.' I think to myself before I continued walking down the lonely, grey streets.

I smirked, looks like I'll have fun this night. I watched the kid walk down the street, her hands stuck in pocket of her hoodie. She looks like she's sixteen or so, maybe even younger. She have dark brown hair, similar to my own, and sky blue eyes. She was wearing hoodie and jeans with black heels, without coat or even jacket. 'Kids became really stupid these years' I thought, before giving the girl my full attention. I moved my brown hair out of my eyes, it was really starting to get on my nerves. Girl started to coming closer to my hiding place.  I smiled, thinking of way to kill her. 'Hmm, maybe neck slice? Or I can simply stab her to death? Nah, I guess I'm simply go with neck slice.' She was almost there, just few steps in front... Done. I smirked, before I jumped on girl, causing her to fall on her back. She let out a yelp of surprise, but nothing more. I lean nearer her face, putting knife to her throat, smirk still on my lips. "Shh... This will be our little secret."
