After 5 minutes of insane awkwardness

"So where do you live Samantha?" Brent asked so he could take me home. He knew my name, I can't believe it he new my name. I just about died when he asked me.

"Umm... once you past this red house there should be a road on the left side, you turn down there." I told him while pointing out the front window

I had to know how he knew my name, we only met a couple months ago.

*Flashback*

It was a nice warm sunny day to wear a bright floral summer dress that goes half way up my thigh, with white flip flops. I decided to straighten my hair because I had few extra minutes. I looked cute.

It was a good thing I did because I found out in math class we were getting a new student, Brent Foster.

The principle walked in and said formally "Students today we are getting a new student.......Come on in Brent, this is your math class."

When I saw him walk in it was like he was walking in slow motion with music playing. His brown hair whooshed to the side, face glowing from the sunlight shining through the window showing his bright green eyes, red and white plaid top with wash blue jeans sat on his body perfectly. He was gorgeous. I knew right there it was love at first sight. For me that is. Not exactly for him.

"He can sit next to me Mr. Walter, Ashley isn't here today." Courtney yelled a crossed the room in her sweet act voice to Mr. Walter the math teacher.

Courtney Brookes, Courtney was the definition of evil. She would do anything to get what she wants. I hated her, she hated me, but I was jealous of her, she's rich, skinny, and beautiful. I wish I didn't say that but, it's true.

She had dyed dark drown hair that went to her shoulders, and right blue eyes. She could probably hypnotized someone if she wanted to. Everyone wanted to be her, even me.

"Who doesn't have a someone sitting beside them." My Walter asked. Since nobody sat beside me was going to raise my hand.

"No one!" A scream came from the other side of the room. I looked over with my hand half way up. It was Courtney. She looked straight into my eyes giving me a look to back off. My hand went straight down, and my eyes turning over to Brent. He looked at me for half a second then moved his eyes to Courtney who looked pleased. He looked at me, he really looked at me.

"Okay Brent you can go side beside Courtney, I'll check on you later to see how things are going." the principle Mr. Samuel left out the door and Mr. Walter continued with his lesson on polynomials. Brent began to move and sit beside Courtney who looked at him a whispered "Hey I'm Courtney....." and more stuff I couldn't make out.

**

I felt like someone was staring at me so I looked around the room, I saw Brent stare at me. Our eyes met for seconds. I wish I could stay in this position forever, his eyes sent me to another world, I felt happy, but Courtney ended up looking at me and giving me a snooty look to turn my head around.

"Samantha, Samantha!" who the heck was calling me?

"What, what." I yelled back in zooming out of space.

"Pay attention this is going to be on the exam." Mr. Walter said like he was disappointed in me. I don't know why I have to learn these over again because I already knew them.

I didn't care, I kept on staring, actually staring sounds like a stalker word. I kept on gazing at him through math class and down the halls when I saw him.

*End of Flashback*

I cleared my throat and shyly said "H-How do you know my name-e?" I stuttered. I shouldn't of said that, it sounded a lot better in my head.
