Chapter 3.Hope For Wildlife with Hope

I went online to the Hope For Wildlife website and emailed them saying that I'd like to join. They emailed back an hour later telling me their phone number and their address. I went to visit them the next day and spent the day with Hope; she taught me everything I needed to know to work there. I spent the rest of the week with Hope, because I need to know how to take care of the animals properly. The next week I started working with the mammals. When I would get home, Alfred would be barking at the door waiting for me. This evening, when I got home Alfred was barking mad! He was so happy to see me back at home because today was the longest I was away from him! I played fetch with Alfred, then we ate supper, and then we went to bed. The next morning, we played all day because I had the day off, and I was so tired. When I fell down Alfred would run super fast to me and lick me all over my face! When I went in to make lunch, my face was a puddle of dog slobber! Or should I say, my face was a "Poodle" of dog slobber! "Geez Alfred!" I said, "Calm Down!" Alfred went to take a nap after I said calm down. After lunch, I went into my attic to see if there was anything left up there, and then to my surprise, I saw....... A RED FOX!!!!! He looked super hurt so I got a thick and big blanket and took him to Hope For Wildlife. Since I worked with the mammals, I took care of him. He was very sick. I named him Slick because I just thought that name would suit a beautiful red fox. Later, I went home and got some money to go out to eat supper, and guess what! I saw Nate there! He saw me so he invited me to his table. We ate supper together and then said bye, and then went home."Bed time again." I said. And off Alfred and I went to bed.
