The next day

I arrived at the bus stop at 8:30 waiting for the bus to pull up, I can't help but be upset, knowing that my meeting with Killian was a one time thing. The bus pulls up and I step into it, I put my ticket in the machine and hang my head low until I walk up to my seat. But then I see him.

"Emma! Here there's an open spot beside me." Killian shouts.

"Haha thanks, I can't believe you remember me."  I utter.

"Well, you don't have a face that's easy to forget." Is he flirting with me?

"Neither do you, Killian" I flirt back.

"So I was thinking Emma, maybe we can exchange numbers and we can hang out sometime?" Killian says.

"Thinking? How'd you know we'd meet again?" I ask.

"I didn't. Just hoped."

Killian and I talk for a while, until I see the station in sight. Which means that this is my stop.

"Alright I best be going now, duty calls." I explain

"Your a cop?" He asks.

"Police, and yes." I don't like it when we're referred to as a cop. We risk our lives protecting the city and all people give us is an informal 3 letter word.

"Exciting. See you later Emma."

"Till next time." I smile and wave goodbye as I make my way off of the bus.
