I hastily pressed answer and I lifted it to my ear, hearing breathing and laughing.
"Hellooooo??" Luke said down the phone. I stayed silent, he was talking to me. My idol, my crush is talking to me. ME.
"Hetty? Baby, it's meeeee." He said. I chuckled. When I did, I heard a gasp.
"It's you..." He whispered. I smiled and nodded, even though he can't see me.
"Please, talk." He whispered again. I really tried to stay quiet, I didn't want to say anything.
"Hi, Luke." I breathed. I heard another gasp and I can just picture the smile on his face.
"Baby, it's yoooou.." He said, obviously hearing the smile was obviously on his face.
"Are you drunk? At a party?" I asked, I looked down at my nail and started to pick my nail polish off, feeling the heat go to my cheeks as I remembered who I'm talking too.
"Yes and yes.." He said with a chuckle.
Just as I was about to say something. I heard someone on the other line say something to Luke.
"Luke, baby. Come and dance with me.."
Then I hung up.
