Confusion

Elsa's POV

It's been three days since I left London. I'm now in Canada. Alexa and Hans are dangerous. We don't know what they can do, so it's better to stay away for a while. When I let London, I vowed that I will come back. Jack might come there and look for me.

Ivan promised me that he would do his best to find Jack and tell me where I am in case something goes wrong. He's back in London because he said he would deal with things. I gave him a letter and he would leave it in Doncaster so that Jack could see it and find me.

I'm now living in my own small apartment. I'm not complaining though. This small apartment actually looks big to me, since I was the only one living here. All I have to do is wait for Jack and then we could just escape this whole thing.

But then, I'm thinking it's not possible.

It's impossible to escape Alexa and Hans, they're the problems. I just want them to disappear from our lives. All I ever wanted was a peaceful life with Jack, but they wouldn't let us. What's their problem?

What happened to freedom?

I sighed and then went to lay down on my bed. I closed my eyes and I relaxed. I could only hear my thoughts, not minding the noise around me. What if Jack doesn't come back? What if something happened?

I just hate this kind of situation. Where I have to runaway and hide. I never get to enjoy my life. I'm wasting my time, I should be living my life to the fullest. But then, I got myself in this situation.

Sometimes, I just wonder.

What if I never fell in love with Jack?

My life would have been easier if I hadn't, I wouldn't be in this kind of situation.

But then.

My heart would be empty.

Hiccup's POV

I lean my head against the cold wall. I was sweating. It was really hot ion here and they wouldn't let us out. I hear the cries of my classmates and I I close my eyes. We all are scared now.

We heard the metal door open and everybody is now screaming. I tried to look at the other cells but my eyes felt heavy. I hear them cough and my vision started to become blurry. My throat was hurting and my eyes started to become teary. I couldn't take it anymore.

''Hiccup.'' I heard someone whisper. My eyes close completely and I lose conscious.

My eyes open and I see really bright light.  Really bright light. My eyes adjust to the light and I see white walls. Everything was right. I felt someone caress my hand with his/her thumb and I look at the person at my right. I see fiery red hair and I smile a bit. I actually feel safe now.

''Hiccup..'' she whispered and smiles at me. She had been crying. It was obvious since her eyes were red and puffy. I tucked some strands of her hair behind her ear. She held my hand that was on her cheek.

''You have been crying, what is the reason?'' I asked her and she wipes some tears away and sniffed.

''I was just worried that's all.'' she said and I looked at her confused.

''Worried? Why what happened?'' I asked and she pursed her lips.

''They released some kind of gas that made us all dizzy and unconscious. I was the first one to wake up, and when I woke up, we were outside to the place where we were kept. We're free. The others started to wake up a few minutes after me. But then, the others took long to wake up, including you.

We called 911 for help. You and the others were rushed in the hospital. The doctor said it wasn't that serious. The others started waking up but you were still unconscious and you made me worried. The doctors checked you again and said it was all mild but I was literally freaking out.'' she told me and I nod.

''How many minutes was I unconscious?'' I asked her.

''Umm, you were out for to days, Hiccup.'' she said and tears were now forming in her eyes again.

''Ssshh, I'm fine now. No need to worry.'' I said and she kissed my forehead.

''Of course.. We're safe now.'' she said and I hummed in response.

''You look tired, you should rest too.'' I said and she shook her head.

''Come onnnnnn..'' I whined and pull her hand. Her face is now close to mine.

''Join me? Please?'' I pleaded and she sighed but then giggled afterwards. I lift the blanket and she lays down beside me. Luckily, the bed was big enough for us. But then there weren't so many space so we have to sleep on our sides. Merida has her back facing me. I can tell that she cannot sleep.

I come closer to her and wrap my arms around her. I put my chin on her shoulder and she tried to turn her head and look at me.

''Sleep.'' I said strictly and she hums. I massage her hair and noticed that she was close to sleeping. I stop massaging her hair and she groans. She puts my hand back to her hair and started massaging again.

''You're liking this, eh?'' I asked but I didn't receive a reply. I look at her face and she is now sleeping. I smile a bit and hugged her tighter.

This might be short for you guys but I tried my best to give you a sweet Mericcup momet. I swear next chapter would be better :)
