Chapter 4- Goodmorning

Stretched out in bed, Bailey slowly wakes up. She opens her eyes and sees Emily, Catherine, and Alexis sitting on her bed.

"So, how was it?" Alexis asked, very curious.

"Can I wake up first?" Bailey yawns and sits up.

"Come on! Spill the beans!" Emily urges.

"It's really nothing special. We just hung out after the game and ate dinner."

"Then why'd you get here at one in the morning?" questioned Alexis.

"Oh my god, we just sat and talked for awhile. It's really not that big of a deal." Bailey tried to not gush about her feelings.

"Hey look, there's a picture of you guys on Twitter" Emily said looking at her phone then passing it to Bailey.

Sure enough, there was a picture of the two that was taken when they were on the field talking.

"Corey Seager's mystery girl...." Bailey read the caption, "that's ridiculous. I barely met the guy."

Suddenly her phone began to ring.

"It's him," Bailey said after glancing at her phone.

"Answer it!" Insisted Catherine.

"Hello?"

"Hi, um, hey... Goodmorning. What are you doing today?"

"I don't know, it's my last day here in LA. Why?"

"Oh.... Well um, we have another game. Do you want to come?"

"I would but the tickets are really expensive and I think my sisters wanted to do something else....." Bailey said even though she really wanted to see him.

"You don't have to pay, I'll just let you in."

"Ummm....-" Alexis snatched the phone out of Bailey's hand and spoke into it, "she'll be there in an hour." and hung up.

Bailey gave Alexis a death glare.

"You know you wanted to." She defended herself.

Bailey began blushing and covered her face, giggling.

Corey's Pov

"Heads up" Joc shouted at me.

"Sorry, I'm a little tired today."

"Why? You were up all night with that girl from yesterday?" He joked, patting my back.

"C'mon dude, I'm not like you." I say rolling my eyes at him, "We had dinner and talked until 1 a.m. It was pretty awesome"

"ooouuuu, little baby Corey has a crush" Turner said walking by us.

"Shut up! And this is different..... She's different." I say, scratching my head, "and she's coming today."

"You got her in?" Kike asked.

"Yeah, I have to see her again. It's her last day here."

"Boys! Why don't I see any practicing ? Get your butts to work!" Yelled our coach Don.

I'm on the floor, stretching my calves when I hear a voice behind me.

"So this is what it's like before a game," a soft voice says.

I turn around to see Bailey standing there with her beautiful white smile.

I automatically get up and give her a light hug.

"Hey there," I say while hugging her, ''thanks so much for coming."

"No! Thank you for inviting me!" Bailey said, letting go of me, "How could I ever deny watching my favorite team play and hanging out with a really hot player.."

She caught herself saying that by accident and covered her face with her hands."

"Ahh, I'm sorry... This is awkward."

"Hahah, it's fine. I'm honored to know that you think i'm hot" I say, smirking.

Bailey stood there looking embarrassed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Gosh, she looked so cute when she did that.

We continued to talk until it was time to get ready for the game.

"I'll see you after the game. Just ask those guys over there and they'll tell you where to sit." I say, giving her a side hug.

"Wait... Is it weird to ask if we can take a picture?" Bailey asked, nervously.

"No! It's fine!"

She holds up her phone, and our heads touch as we take a picture.

We hug goodbye and I return to the dugout.
