ughhhhh
Bailey grunts as she wakes up, the bright sun radiating into the room. She sits up and stretches, checking her phone, 7:46 a.m, read the clock. Rolling off the bed, she begins her daily morning routine.
After freshening up, the walks into the kitchen to see Corey drinking some type of green juice.
"Mornin'" he says sitting on the couch.
"Hey." Bailey approaches him and curls up with his body.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Good. Last night made me really tired."
Yeah, me too. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe that you were asked to be a model!"
"I know! I would've never thought that I was model worthy."
"I can now officially say that I'm dating a model." Corey did that cute smirk that he does when he flirts, giving Bailey the hots.
She looks up at him and puts her hand on his chest, "let's go do something before you go to practice."
"Sure. Do you have anything in mind?"
"Show me around the city." Bailey suggests.
"Okay." he smiled, "Go dress in something athletic. We're leaving in twenty."
Bailey grins and excitedly gets up.
---
"We are we going? Are we still even in LA?" Bailey asks, looking out of the window.
Corey drives them through green mountains, seeming to get further and further away from the city.
"You'll see in a bit." he says as he holds Bailey's hand, and lays them on the center console.
The song Middle plays on the radio, causing Bailey to sing along.
"I hope that I can turn back the time..." she sings on the top of her lungs, using a hand sanitizer bottle as a microphone, "to make it all alright, all alright for us..."
She holds the 'microphone' up to Corey and he playfully pushes it away.
"C'mon, I know you know this song." she tries convincing him to sing along.
Shaking his head, Corey grins and in a very monotone voice, sings "with youuuu in the middleee..," causing them both to break out into laughter.
----
"Here we are." Corey says stepping out the car, followed my Bailey.
"It's beautiful.." Bailey responds staring out at the beautiful view.
They are standing in front of huge hills, full of trees and flower bushes. A sign reading "Griffith Hiking Trail" is posted against a wooden bench.
"Let's do this." She grabs his hand and leads them through the trail.
There is a slight overcast in the sky, adding a cool breeze to the sunny weather. Not too many people are on the trail yet, due to it being 9:00 am.
They stop along the way to read signs with information about the wildlife.
"Let's race to the top." Corey suggests.
Bailey pouts her face, "but you're gonna beat me since you are a star athlete."
"I'll give you a five second head start."
"No, I'm not a wussy. Let's do this." She turns around and starts jogging.
Corey speeds up past her, not even breaking a sweat, while Bailey is panting after the first 10 steps.
She stops in pain, holding onto her ankle, "ouch! I think I sprained my ankle!"
Corey immediately rushes to her and crouched down.
"Just kidding!" Bailey begins running as fast as the wind, turning around and sticking out her tongue.
The end of the hill was approaching. Bailey stopped at the top, Corey right behind her.
"Is this real?" Bailey gasped.
They were overlooking the entire city of Los Angeles. The Hollywood sign was planted to their left, and glimpses of the Pacific Ocean were seen behind some mountains.
Corey wraps his arm around Bailey and holds her close. She lays her head against his shoulder, taking the view in.
"Excuse me ma'am, can you take a picture of us?" Bailey asks a woman walking with her dog.
"Of course-OH MY GOD! Are you Corey Seager?" The lady squealed.
"Yes I am.." Corey awkwardly smiled.
The lady took Bailey phone and pointed it at them.
Corey stands next to Bailey, smiling, as she faces him and kisses his cheek.
"Cute! Here ya go!" The woman hands he phone back to Bailey and waves goodbye.
"I'm totally posting this." She says typing a caption on Instagram.
"Me too."
Bailey looked up at Corey surprised.
"But you haven't posted one of us yet."
"It's time for my followers to meet you." He smiles and kisses her gently.
After pulling away, he looks at the time. "We should start heading back."
They turn around and make their way back down the hill.
---
Once back at the house, Corey left to practice and Bailey stayed home to run some errands.
And by errands, that meant sitting on the couch and online shop for the apartment while watching The Vampire Diaries.
As she was deciding wether or not she wanted a white fur rug, the front door unlocked and opened.
"You're home early." Bailey said walking to the door to greet Corey.
Suddenly she stopped in her tracks, surprised to see who it was.
"Who are you?" The woman asked, holding a suitcase.
"I'm Bailey. Who are you?"
"I'm Jody. Corey's mom."
