We had just made it into my room when there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I yell, "it's me." I knew it was Cheyenne. "Come in" I yelled back. When she walked in, she looked like she had seen a ghost. "What's the matter?" Allen asks her, "Ellie, does me know about dad?" "Yes" I simply speak. "Oh. Well Mamaw just told me and I don't know what to do." Me and Cheyenne have always thought and felt alike. "To be honest with you, I don't know what to do either. But honestly what can we do? I mean they found on the shoreline which obviously means he's dead, I mean not here anymore." I explain. "Well Mamaw never told me that he was dead." When I got to thinking, she never told me that he was either. "Well she didn't say that to me either, but I wouldn't worry about it. Meanwhile, Life Goes On and all we can do is live in the moment." I don't like to be rude to Cheyenne but sometimes she acts so immature and it gets on my nerves. She turns around and walks out of the room. "So what are we gonna do now?" Allen asks. "I don't really know. What do you want to do?" I got the question back to him. "Well I was thinking about getting a little romantic" I know what he's thinking. He knows that I don't want to go to far but a good kiss would be perfect. "That sounds great, but you know the limit" he looks at me with that little half smile thug he does. "Well what are you waiting for??" He always asks so many questions. "Just thinking" he then grabs me and lays me on the bed. Our lips meet, and that's where it all started. He was gentle but rough at the same time. I loved it. He knew that I didn't want to go too far, since this our first real intimate episode. I was living in the moment. About 10 minutes later, we hear a knock on the door. Allen jumps up and grabs his shirt off of the floor and when he gets it on, I say come in. It was Mamaw. "What's going on up here?" She asked. "Oh nothing. Just sitting here talking about dad. What are you doing?" Trying to change the subject. "Just came up here to check on you guys. I didn't want anything getting out of hand." "Oh Mamaw you know that wouldn't happen." I send a half smile to her. "I know I was just kidding. I really came up here to tell you that Cheyenne went to a friends house. She is having a really hard time with this whole thing with your dad" I could see the sadness in her eyes.  "She will be okay. It will just take some time" I reply. I didn't know what else to say. "I know. I just don't want her to deal with it alone." "She knows that she can come to me. She talked to me before she left." "You're such a great big sister." "Well thank you Mamaw, I appreciate it!" She always knows what to say. "Is Allen going to stay here for the night?" Mamaw asked "yes. I mean if that's okay with you Mrs. Sampson" Allen politely responds. "Yes that is perfectly fine with me. Will you be staying in here or the spare room?" "That is up to you, I can stay wherever." He answers. "You can stay in here, if that's okay with El." "Yes Mamaw he can stay in here." We will probably be getting ready for bed anyway." "Okay. Just let us know" and then she left. I looked at Allen and he was already looking at me. "Do you want to go to bed?" He asked. "Yeah. We can watch blue bloods on Netflix for a while. But we should probably tell Mamaw and Pop night first." "Okay that's fine" we walk downstairs and then before we know it, we were back in bed watching blue bloods. "Good night Ellie May, I love you." "Good night Allen Cater. I love you!" And just like that he was asleep. We have this thing when we say I love you, so unread if saying I love you too, it's just I love you. Before I knew it, I was drifting off to sleep.
