WARNING! This may contain feels and by may that I mean its FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH FEELS.

It wasn't meant to end like this

Days, weeks, months ticked by in a blink of the eye. Forwards, backwards didn't matter. The power that coursed trough them felt wonderful. A screen lit up, flashes of red, green, yellow and blue surrounded them. Warnings flashed by as they typed with a speed unmatched. The four pupils in their left eye seemed to move in a motion similar to a loading circle. Their chuckles left the rats that scurried in their lab frozen in fear.
"The Reckoning can start now."
A computer voice sounded loud, their chuckling increased, turning into full blown mad laughter. Who knew that leaving them alone for a few days could let them spiral into this? Certainly no one. The last days no one was in the neighborhood they all lived in, no one answered their calls and texts. It felt like they were abandoned completely.
The reason for that is that everyone was there, but Homestuck wasn't. They were trapped in their own home, shadows binding their eyes, making them see the things the shadows wanted them to see. No one managed to reach them, their phone and computer turned off.
Well, a few days of being alone can feel like months to them, whispers of the Horrorterrors telling them to start already, kill the world and start anew. No one could stop them. So that's what they are currently doing, getting themself lost in the sweet promises of the oldest gods. Time and Doom whispering in their ear how wonderful it would be that atlast, Space will be joining them.
What they didn't know, is that a certain Timelord just returned, having finished another one of his solo missions. He never expected to see something like this. Strange shadowy figures surrounding Homestuck, speaking in a language more ancient than the beggining of the Universe, telling them to start the Apocalypse.
"Love! Snap out of it!"
He tried reaching them, but the hadowy figures didn't allow it, tossing him aside like a broken doll. That enraged the Timelord, his husband/wife is getting controlled by ancient beings for Pete's sake. He pulled out his Dalek Shooter, hellbent of killing the things. And he shot at these shadows.
Time and Doom saw it coming, simply floating out of the way as the shot hit Homestuck square on the back. Pain flowed through them as they tried to stay alive, fighting it off before falling to their knees, laying on the ground in a fatal position as they gave in to the pain.
It took a second for Doctor Who to register what he had just done. The shadows cackled until they disappeared in thin air.
He waited, maybe their Godtier protected them, but that Hope got abandoned once a Just death sign appeared above them. That was the moment he broke down, running over to the corpse of his love, trying to get them to wake up while he cried. Carefully putting their upper body on his lap, maybe that would help. It didn't. Their body slowly started to become cold. How long was he already here, holding the corpse of the one he called love close, trying so hard to hear their heartbeat again?
It had been definitely more then a day, their body even colder then room, their skin starting to have a bleched out tone.
If this is a bad nightmare, Doctor Who really wants to wake up now and hug his Homestuck for a good, long while.
