~ Rhys ~

I may be draped across a chair on the other side of the suite but I swear I'm not a stalker or anything.

After laying her down upon her huge and incredibly soft bed, I denied the urge to climb in next to her because that definitely wouldn't be okay. My instincts were screaming 'yes!' but my brain knew she either didn't know or acknowledge what we were to one another.

I then had sat in the chair I am currently occupying and had promptly fallen asleep, just like Feyre. However now, it's the middle of the Night and, as Fae can see in the dark, I was worried about Feyre's tossing and turning in her sleep. She was restless, probably having a nightmare like I often did.

Should I wake her up? No, she might panic at her new surroundings or demand to be taken back to Spring. And I doubt I could refuse her anything should she be persistent. Besides, she needs her sleep, something tells me this isn't the first time she's had night terrors.

I can only think of one solution - maybe there's others, but my instincts conveniently aren't allowing them to be revealed to me. So I quietly move to the side of her bed and slip under the covers, scooting myself up close behind her. I wrap one arm around her waist and move the other under her head as a pillow for her. Not creepily whatsoever, I lean in close and inhale the intoxicating scent of my mate's hair.

Beneath me Feyre stills. I hold my breath and silently will her not to wake. And she doesn't, but instead subconsciously moves closer to the warmth my body provides. I let hold of my breath and tighten my hold around the body which is now pressed directly up against mine.

Her small moans of distress fade and her breathing becomes deeper. Together we slip back into a more peaceful sleep.

Hi, I know that's short and probs won't satisfy your Feyrand cravings which is why I'll put two up at once. I just thought the next part *smug smirk* would be best from Feyre's POV. ;) xx

Ps: the pic of the hot guy at the beginning with the Rhysand quote is Sean O'pry. He's my dream cast for Rhys.
