On to the story!!

----------------

"Tyler, why are you being so nice to me?"

The power had gone out and I refused to be left alone. Tyler had promised he would stay with me until the storm was over. The trees were banging on the windows with each passing minute. Thunder continuously rumbling through the angry looking sky. It was a bad storm. A Type of storm we hadn't gotten in a long while.

I was in the bathroom when the power went out. What a wonderful time.

BANG went the thunder, the entire room lit up as if the lightning was right above us. Then I was covered in blackness. I couldn't see anything. I quickly finished my business and ran out of the room.

"TYLER?! Where are you?"

He never responded.

"TYLLLEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!" I screamed even louder, yet still, I got no response. My heart rate was quickening and my hands were starting to shake. I guess you could say I was scared. I heard a creak from the downstairs floor. It was ominous... The ceiling light started to flicker above my head as I kept spinning around, trying desperately to see. There was another creak, and then I heard footsteps. The logical side of me said it was Tyler, the other side of me screamed to run, that it was a murderer here to kidnap me and then kill me.

Suddenly, arms wrapped around. I must've jumped a mile.

"Ah!"

"Shh, it's just me, Sammy. I went to grab some flashlights." I could tell Tyler was amused by how afraid I was.

"Don't you ever do that again!" I smacked him across the arm. Tyler smirked and then rolled his eyes.

"Come with me, I set up something downstairs for you."he grabbed for my hand but I pulled away from him. I didn't want him to touch me, just the thought of him hurting me again brought down an emotion that I hated to show. It brought out sadness and regret. The two emotions I would refuse to show around him. He already thought I was a coward for being terrified of storms, but it wasnt my fault! I had always been that way!

I could've sworn I saw hurt flash through Tyler's eyes. But just as quickly as it was there, it was gone.

"Just follow me sam. It's right downstairs."

"Ok."

When we got downstairs, I melted. Tyler had got the fireplace working and set up blankets infront of the fire. There was multiple board games set up with candles all around. It was a picture perfect moment.

The blankets were surrounding by walls of pillows. Somehow, pillows, candles and fire didnt mix but Tyler had it set up so that it was perfectly safe. So that nothing would be able to hurt me...

"What do you think?"

"Do you really want to know what I'm thinking?" Tyler nodded. "Okay.... I thinking... How the hell did you get this all set up while I was in the bathroom.... "
