i suck at titles

"What are you doing with that thing?!?!?" I screamed at troy. The small cat jumped on the couch next to me and fell asleep. "Wait... Why isn't she hissing at me" I poked the small cat as she wiggled. "I don't know maybe she likes you now" troy said as he moved the cat onto his lap. "Well that's never happened before" I let my wings out and layed down on the floor.

"I didn't realize they were that big" he said glances and my wings that almost took up the entire living room. "No this house is just small" I said as I turned on the TV. The cat woke up and then stared at my wings for a minute, "what the fuck do you want" I laughed at the cat. I looked back at troy, "anyways what are you gonna name her?" He pat the small kitten on the head and looked back up, "I don't know I'm still thinking about it, I was thinking like a cartoon character or something"

The kitten mewed happily at the thought as if she understood what he said. "Ha I think she likes that" I said as I sat up and grabbed my computer. I started googling famous cartoon character names. "How about snoopy" I asked as the cat hissed at me. "I'm guessing that's a no, let me se it" troy reached over and grabbed my computer as the cat got comfortable on one of my wings. "Ooh how about minnie mouse" he said as the cat hissed.

"Oh do mickey" I said as the small cat purred in delight. "I guess that's her name then." Troy picked up the small cat and set her on his lap, "hi mickey" he said as he fell asleep. I got up and started making some food.

*time skip*

Troy woke up and walked into the kitchen, I handed him a plate of food and gave the cat a small piece of chicken. "Oh ya I forgot to tell you that we found out my sister is allergic to cats so she's gonna need to stay here" troy said as he shoved pasta in his mouth.

"Ugh fine but you have to pay for the food" troy shrugged as the cat stretched and walked into the other room. Troy got up and stretched "okay I'm tired I got to go home" he walked out as I yelled bye and finished cleaning. I walked in the other room to see what mickey was doing,

I didn't see her in my room so I checked my brother's and then
Jared's room and I didn't see her. I heard a noise back in my room. When I walked in my room I saw my closet door move slightly. I opened the door slightly and saw a young girl about 14 years old holding a blanket over her.

She stared at me for a minute before blushing and asking, "do you have any close that would fit me?" I stepped back shocked, "uh ya sure one sec. Where did you come from?" I asked as I handed her a pair of jeans, a baggy shirt and some underwear. She grabbed the close and put the blanket down and got dressed. "I'm mickey... The cat." I sat there confused as she sighed and began to explain. "I have the ability to change between a cat and a human, when I saw you at the park last week I knew there was something different about you but I couldn't figure it out. When I walked up to you I felt even more sure of it."

Mickey sat on my bed as I stood there still confused. "Um, if we have similar abilities does that mean we're from the same place?" I asked as she nodded her head, "do you know where we're from?" She shook her head no, "no, but I do know someone who could help us find out. She's an old friend that has the same situation we have and she has a clue so we can go look for her tomorrow since its getting late."

I took a shower and when I got out, Alex and Jared were back and mickey was back in her cat form curled up in a ball at the foot of my bed. I pet her head lightly, "are you hungry?" She shook her head and fell asleep. I walked into the kitchen and Alex and Jared were making food. "Hey kaly, you know that new panda they got at the zoo?" Jared asked excitedly, "ya why are you so hyper?" I asked. "Okay so!" He began as I rolled my eyes at his childishness. "So since I started working there part time, they put me in charge of the panda exhibit and I was doing some blood work test on the new one, her name is Milo by the way, and I noticed that her DNA matched the same structure as a human!" Me and my brother both stopped what we were doing, "so your trying to say that this panda has human DNA?" Alex asked looking at jared like he was crazy. "Well I mean, it could be possible." I added glancing at alex. "Oh don't fuel his fire kaly." Alex went to his room as I looked back at jared. "But ya! There's a possibility that this panda is part human!" He said happily, "I think I made a new discovery! Can you even tink of what the science world could use with this information????" I laughed slightly and walked back to my room.

"Hey, be careful what you say to him, because he might do something with you if he finds out what you have." Alex said as he stopped me before I walked in my room. "Ya I'm just worried about the panda. I walked in my room and mickey sat up and looked worried. "What's wrong?" I sat down next to her. She sighed "we better leave early in the morning if we want to speak to my friend." I was confused for a moment. "What do you mean?" "Well that panda at the zoo, Milo, is the friend." I was shocked for a moment. "So jared really did find human DNA in her."

After everyone went to sleep mickey turned back into a human. "Do you have a phone I can use? I memorized her number so I can text her." I got up to grab my phone, "she has a phone in the zoo?" I asked as I handed her my phone and she quickly typed a message. "Well she wasn't always at zoos, she had a family at one point, but something happened and she decided to stay as an animal for most of the time, I still visit her time to time to bring her things she might need." After a few minutes she got a reply "what's your address? You'll see in a bit." I gave her a piece of paper I had it written down on and she typed another message. "How long does it take to walk to the zoo from here?" She asked handing me back my phone. "Like ten minutes" I said in more of a question.

We sat in a peaceful silence until we heard a soft nock at my window. She walked over to the window and opened it and a girl with long black hair and white highlights that was about 16 climbed in. "Hi I'm Milo"
